Answers: No one can read aloud exactly when a girl will get her first menstrual period, but usually girls will receive it some time during puberty.
Some girls start puberty at age 9 or 10 where others may start as late as age 15 or 16. Each girl go at her own pace. So don't think that it's a impossible thing or that something is wrong if your friends start puberty a little earlier/later than you.

I got mine at 12 and i thought it be too early, and it's very annoying when you do obtain it, so enjoy the time u'v got moved out :-)

you can take a period as late as 18. if you perceive uncomftorable then just take around tampons or pads there is no agency to say when, you will get it, but as associates mature differently it may take you longer to develop than others.
i hope your dad never get a period LOL. dont rush it because believe me once youhave it you want want it anymore. some girls dont even get it until they are 15... or subsequently... dont rush it.
