Answers: josh, the human body have so many mysteries & dr's don't have adjectives the answers and just because they don't doesn't mean nearby may be something "wrong" w/you. your body has the abilty to so some degree to lug care of itself. if it had something "wrong" to speak, it would say so ... if you know what i mean. so your body may purely be take'n care of business and your feeling of have a temp may return to "normal" when your scrotum pain fully 100% recovers. in that is a medical term for when someone feels similar to they have a temp but do not actually own a temp. but i am sorry i forget what it is called. also, my "normal" temp is 97.4 so when mine reads 98.6 i actualy hold a temp. you may need to find what your baseline temp is to know when you have a disorientation. also, could you get a refferal to a urologist? a urologist is a mans edition of a gyn! i think you ought to follow up w/a uro. he may be aware of things your GP is not and a 2nd opinion may give a hand you sleep better.
I don't know what your living condition is? Are you living with someone, at home, or in a relationship?
It is surprising that doctors aren't competent to find a pathogen, meaning a bacteria or virus within your system, causing the fever! Have you ever be to tropical or subtropic country in the last 2 years! Malaria can show up surrounded by disguised ways!
I asked about yur living conditions, because scrotal discomfort, testicular shrinkage, pain, and loss within sperm count... as well as loss of sex drive can result from chemical castration medication which seems unlikely for your circumstance?? This is charitable of off the wall to mention!
Not many conditions show up as a sexual problems similar to what you describe!
Pain would in any area be stopped or reduced by the Tylenol.
A second or different doctors feelings would be wise, and don't leave out detail when describing your experience !
Another item which is tough to diagnose is Lymes disease which is contracted from the bite of a tick! It cannot be diagnosed unless a specific interview for the disease is performed.
If you hike or military camp in the woods, that would be a good question paper to have done.
In terms of your restlessness, you do realize that normal body temperature is 98.6 deg. F. ??
