I filch depakote & trazodone to sleep but it doesnt work what else can i purloin?
Does anyone abhorrence girls beside tot voice as much as i do?
Answers: Trazadone is an antidepressant, so if you have problems with anti-d's resembling some with bipolar, that could be part of the problem. It could also be that you mood is not fully stabilized.
My pdoc have me on Lunesta but it wasn't enough. I then started Seroquel and it did the trick. My pdoc's thinking be that the I wasn't totally balanced. Now that the rest of my meds are tweaked pretty well, we are lowering the Seroquel. So far, so worthy. So, that's my recommendation. Talk to your pdoc about that med. It's an antipsychotic that add some stability. It also is the most sedating one of the atypicals out there.
PS - avoid the benzos. They're too addictive. You'll forever need more to sleep. Work on getting stabilized or using a sedating stabilizer instead.
Well if you want to progress the natural way you can try drinking a comforting tea like chamomille, mint, lavender, and varivan(sp?)...or sleepy time tea by "celestual(sp?) seasons" or bedtime tea by lipton...or any of the others you may find at a healthfood store.
Try drinking a warm chalice of milk with a little honey contained by it
You can try taking Melatonin...it's a natural supplement that really helps put you to sleep.
You can try meditation (Guided imagiry or relaxation...or even any other meditation you own read in a book or have tried before)...they relax your body and mind makin it easier to fall down asleep.
But if you want to go the drug way...
You can try getting put on a benzo (like ativan or xanax)..they will knock you out.
benadryl (tends to knock out peole aswell)
You can also try to carry some "offical" sleeping meds like ambien or lunesta,.,..or what ever is on the market right very soon.
But if none of this works...you should really talk to your doctor about this problem because not sleeping can brand other illness and situations worse.
Good Luck
I grain approaching I'm losing my human side...?
Trazodone helped me alot. Maybe you can up the dose? Aside from that, I've also taken Seroquel and Ambien CR. Be judicious about Ambien CR though. It did help me sleep, but past I fell asleep I would hallucinate and would be really groggy the next day. I know others who enjoy had that problem with Ambien too. Have you tried Ambien CR?

How almost Lorazepam?
I prefer the Lorazepam, because even sometimes with Ambien I wake up contained by the morning feeling a bit groggy. With Lorazepam, I always discern refreshed.
I take Xanax for sleep, but it is addictive. My doctor also prescribed Restoril for me when needed. Ask your doctor around other options.
