I don't know what to do. I simply can't sleep?

Answers: Wow! Lack of sleep is probably to blame here, it can really affect your character, feelings, attitude and general economically being. I would say what your response is normal for someone who hasnt slept in a week, if I seize one nights bad sleep later I feel like bloodshed someone, ha! Try taking a zanex or something to knock you out, and dont mix it with alcohol because it could change the desired response of the drug. Try exercise contained by the late afternoon, go for a pace, run - it wont only tire you out, it will release happy hormones into your body.
Are you sure you focus your shrink is lying or is it just your paranoia? I dont like anti depressants, I focus they are addictive and dangerous in the wrong hand.
Good luck and try to sleep, read a book (not horror) before bed, make sure in attendance is no mirror facing your bed and all electric appliences are switched off. Relax! x

You appear to still be on top of the situation,able to monitor your vibrations,howeverbad they may seem to you at the moment.I have gone through the state of mind you describe,I came through by getting up and doing something if i could not sleepE.G.computing,reading,listening to my fondness music[headphones of course].Then if I was not working I would cause sure that I would tire myself during the daytime by cycling, or swimming or even walking miles.Over a couple of weeks everything balanced itself out .Good luck. Maybe your doctor should add a benzodiazepine to the antidepressant for the time person. According to what you describe, you won't be able to sleep without medication. It can step on for a very long time on its own.
It sounds like you're going to dance crazy or something, try a therapist ? Maybe you're thinking about too much stuff, put some soft serene music on, and drink warm milk, probably it'll help. If it doesn't help out at all, i don't know what to say.

Hi i know how you feel as i went throw it a few weeks ago, i didn't sleep for 2weeks & i thought i be going mad. I tryed pills from the shop, relaxing music, milk, etc (even had a m8s sleeping pill, witch should knock you out inwardly 30min, well it dose for every one else), by 1 & 1/2 weeks i had tryed every reflect on i was told to do & nothing worked. not with the sole purpose that i have 3 children to look after. so it was really sand me mad, seeing & hearing things.
okay any way by 1 & 1/2 weeks i had have enough of it, so I did as much as i could each light of day without stopping, i tryed not to sit down for more than 5min at a time in the time till the evening when i would have a long herbal bath, next just relax on the sofa or bed with the tv low, doing breathing exercises( within thorugh the nose slowly then lull, then out thorugh the mouth slowly then pause). I would own 3 good meals a time too.
first night: I had small nap (was better than no sleep)
night two: the naps get a bit longer
night three: i got a in one piece 1 hr sleep (woopy)
night four: i got 2hrs sleep
afternoon five: i was so nakard not stopping & having 3 virtuous meals a day.
hours of darkness five: at last a whole night sleep
& now back to sleeping verey capably.

I know how you discern. The only thing that works for me is staying up till 5 AM..and sleeping till 1pm. You probably can't do that if you own a job Just remember that the way you're passion is normal for having lost sleep. It can do that to you. You seriously obligation to find a sleep study clinic. There ought to be one near you or maybe even contained by a hospital. Maybe they can determine what's wrong. I'm sure you've already tried Melatonin. It's a hormone and helps some people. I tried benedryl to variety me sleepy. Now I don't take anything. I just stay up till 5 and after I seem to be able to sleep. Also , if you're not getting philosophical sleep..that's just about as unpromising. I feel so sorry for you. People that don't go through this don't realize what it does to you. Please carry to one of those clinics soon before you get so depressed you can't come out of it. These are things you've probably already tried.Turn on a lover for noise...spray your pillow with lavender spray...obtain a portable cd player and a boring book on cd and let it bore you to sleep...get a doll bear..something to hold (or a good pillow)..clear sure you've got a good bed (have you tried to sleep within another bed..in another room?) Don't eat or drink any caffeine or sugar at dark..esp. not chocolate...try camomile tea (but not reg. tea ..it has caffeine) or warm milk..bring some Vitamin D with Calcium (I think that 's the combination. They supply it to help people sleep.)Make sure adjectives the lights are off. Good Night and Good Luck.
