Why surgery if someone swallows a compelling goal?

I saw on t.v. where a kid swallowed a small magnectic ball and needed surgery, what happen in the body that magnets are so dangerous?
is it true?

Answers:    It is not the fascinating property that is dangerous but the quality of the foreign object itself. being captivating it means it is made up of iron or steel, and that is not digestible plan it will pass through your entire digestive system until reaching a point where it cannot outdo through (such as the junction of the small intestine and the large intestine) If it is small plenty through pass till the end, it will consequently make a very unspectacular but rough finish through the anus!

This obviously all depends on the size of the globe, and whether you were seing a film/series or a documentary!

My tip: surgery or not, do not swallow non-edible objects!
