Why do I maintain getting nosebleeds?

I keep gettingnose bleeds on the right side of my nose! They are really annoying and they save me from doing fun and everyday things. I am about 14, if it matters. I hold gotten the right side of my nose cauterized twice now, and it doesn't label a difference for me. I get them bad, but they usually don't end long. My longest nosebleed was about 30 minutes. But they are usually roughly speaking 2-5 minutes. They don't happen at a certain time, purely anytime. Please tell me the following:

o Why could this be happening (I enjoy a lot of allergies to outdoors things such as pollen.)
o Is there a medical possession for it?
o Do most people have this problem?
o Do you own this problem?

If you only know an answer to one of the questions that would relieve too!

Thanks!

Answers:    I too have had problems beside nosebleeds for years and know how annoying they are. The last time I had a bout of nosebleeds I go to an urgent care facility. They told me that I needed to use a saline spray up my nose several times a sunshine (to keep your nose from drying out). The doc also said to temporarily use a nasal decongestant spray, such as Afrin or Neo-Synephrine to constrict blood vessel right after a nosebleed stops. He said to basically not blow my nose and put a ceiling on Advil/asprin intake. Following this advice has help me to control my nosebleeds a lot.

Here is some more information for you to read:
Epistaxis is the relatively common commonness of hemorrhage from the nose, usually noticed when the blood drains out through the nostrils. There are two types: anterior (the most common), and posterior (less adjectives, more likely to require medical attention).

Nosebleeds can occur spontaneously when the nasal membranes dry out and crack. This is adjectives in dry climates, or during the winter months when the air is dry and heat from household heaters. People are more susceptible to bleeding if they are taking medications which prevent normal blood clotting [warfarin (Coumadin), aspirin, or any anti-inflammatory medication]. The incidence of nosebleeds is difficult during the colder winter months when upper respiratory infections are more frequent, and the temperature and humidity fluctuate more dramatically. In addition, change from a bitter cold outside environment to a warm, dry, heated home results in drying and change in the nose which will sort it more susceptible to bleeding. Nosebleeds also occur in hot dry climates near low humidity, or when there is a change within the seasons.

Hope this helps!.
My son grasp them because of his allergies. He will coat the inside of his nose with petroleum jelly. It works for him...grant it a try if you haven't already.
