Answers: To not get sores around your nose, or to hang on to your nose from getting dry/red use vaseline or soft kleenex. Toilet paper is going to distribute you a red/sore nose.
To get rid of a cold:
-Echinacea boosts your immune system ((more prevention really))
-Chicken noodle soup ((it really does work! NOT an out-of-date wives tale!))
-Food that is well-mannered for you! Fruits, veggies, etc...
-Sleep
-Water/Pure fruit juice
-NO caffeinated beverages, these dehydrate you which is bad when you are sick.
-5-8 sips of a HOT beverage, the rest of it thaw is fine ((kills bacteria in your mouth/throat...fixed benefit))
-Humidifier/Vicks to help you breathe easier
-Gargle salt wet for your throat
-Wash pillow cases/blankets NOW ((kill the germs!! If you don't want to completely wash the blanket and it isn't dirty, pop it in the dryer for 30 minutes. Wash the pillow cases for sure though))
-Be positive! You will find better, this cold isn't all that bad. Mind power really is powerful.

Use softer Kleenex and eat soup...or drink it. you buy the tissues that hold lotion in them or you could put some vasiline or neosporin around it..
The Kleenex brand makes a tissue specifically for those who are sick and inevitability the comfort of soft tissues for their noses. It is annoying to have a red proboscis during when you are feeling under the weather.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay heat up and have lots of chicken noodle soup. At night bring cold medicines to help you perceive better in the morning and to help you sleep at dark. Vicks Vapor rub helps to soothe your chest as well. Also, use listerine gargle to abet kill nasty germs.
Oh, and do not forget to hold a change of pillow cases too and launder your clothes and bedsheets. You do not want to stay sick longer then you should.
