When taking vitamins, is it normal that your urine turns to a bright (almost fluorescent) yellow? And why?

Answers:    It depends on what you're taking, bright yellow urine is most likely from B12 vitamins..
I've taken excessive amounts of the vitamin B complex (see http://inhumanexperiment.blogspot.com), but didn't notice effects such as this. What kind of vitamins are you taking? I would guess the bright yellow has more to do with the amount of water you're drinking and less with vitamins - drink more water and see whether that makes a difference. If yes, then I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably the B vitamins. They do that to me too. It's normal, nothing to be concerned about..
I take men's 1 aday, it's reassuring to know your pee looks that way too! you may be excreting the dye. drink more water and skip the vitamins. eat a balanced diet instead.
