What is the intervention if a soul have malaise?

i'm making a nursing care plan and i'm having a complex time finding a care suitable for a patient who have malaise..

Answers:    Malaise is a general feeling of individual unwell...therefore I would suggest rest and liquids, I don`t know a mild pain reliever..
Rest! Since you can't 'cure' it, all you can do is minimize any their stress. Teach the client energy-conserving technique when performing ADLs.

Also, the staff can minimize interruption while pt is asleep/resting by doing all they can while they are in the patient's room to avoid going within and out. Keep the noise down.

Teach the pt. relaxation techniques. ie: distraction, metaphors etc.

Since malaise is most of the time a sign of infection, you might want to watch for s/s of infection. Be aware when you have to execute procedures (i.e stay sterile when performing sterile procedures, wash hands before/after etc..)

Hope that help! Goodluck with nursing school!
