What is the best anti-inflamatory drug?

Answers:    The strongest anti-inflammitory drug is: Fludrocortisone

The most commonly prescribed anti-inflam is: prednisone

The most effective non steroidal drug is: diclofenac

The most effective over the counter drug is: ibuprofen.
If you've got a broken bone, and I'm assuming you do, then Ibuprofin (Advil, Motrin, etc... generic brands are just as good.) is a good option for you. It's over the counter, cheap, and safe - if you take it with food. Always take it with food. It can cause - with long term use - bleeding stomach ulcers. Most people aren't even aware they have an ulcer until it's too late. (meaning difficult to treat)
You might want to up your intake of calcium, but only if you've sought treatment and your bone is set properly and cast. Dairy products are a good option, but please consider almonds. They are almost as high in calcium, and it's better absorbed by the body. I'm not sure what the best one is, but be careful taking them. I took some a few years ago when I hurt my back, and it took the pain away, but it caused an ulcer. I spend almost a year in major pain. It was
the meds for inflamation that I took that caused the problem so be careful what you take.
