What do u surmise? To fib or not to recline?
After a while the lenient starts to get suspicious after she was refuse to be given an extra set of dose after 4 hours (as they usually do with the morphine).
Now we know that morphine is a drug that can only be used temporaraly next to a risk of building up tolerance/addiction to it. Plus the nasty adverse effects it has on patients. So its best to not enjoy to be using it regularly. However does this justify the reason to LIE to the forgiving? putting the nurse in the uncomfortable position to enjoy to lie for the benefit of the patients health? what ar e your thought on this? (not a existing life story, a hypothetical)
Answers: Why on earth would you fiction to the patient ? If they are already suspicious, don't you think that they will know? I suppose that telling the truth, explaining what you are doing and why, and proceeding from there, is the merely ethical thing one could do in this scenario. Also, long residence, the only course of action that could realistically be expected to benefit the merciful..
If a lie is curative , the doctors is ethically bound to tell it. So is the nurse.
