What do hospitals do with amputated bidy parts after surgery?

Answers:    Amputation to any body part is done only as a treatment procedure( many times as a last or only resort procedure) where the amputated part is no more useful and/or rather harmful to life if retained in the body, when by removing the part only we can save life.
Amputated body parts after surgery are to be shown to the relatives / attendants, and recorded in the case sheet in detain and then discarded after following all the hospital incinerator procedures.
Some times they may go as specimens in the pathology / anatomy laboratories after following all the required formalities..
They are supposed to incinerate them.
