I have a pitcher that is rectangular (don't know the model number). I don't see any stamp for the plastic type (in the triangle).
Anyone know what type of plastic is used?
I wonder if it contains BPAs.

Answers:    I enjoy two PUR pitchers as well and sadly, I only learned that they are made of styrene acrylonitrile or SAN (recycling symbol #6), which does not contain bisphenol A (BPA) but does apparently leach styrene into the water, which can lead to nervous system disorders, nausea, weakness, liver problems and possibly cancer.
