So I have this disorder that can cause dusk spots to appear on your skin called cafe au lait (coffee) spots. Generally I don't mind them at all, except for the one on my obverse that my tumor (also from this disorder) is under. It's hard to disguise next to make-up and draws more attention to my scar from 5 different surgeries and what's departed of the tumor itself.

Is there any procedure that can be done to lighten the dark skin to match, or at least come close to similar the rest of my face? I know there must be something out in attendance.

Also do you know if this is something some insurances would cover and if not how much it would cost?

I am in Massachusetts and this disorder is call Neurofibromatosis. (incase that helps anyone answer better.)

Answers:    Try getting a facial. They bleach your face and it help to remove dark spots(such as blemishes). I used to get them(I stopped because the female kept getting some of the cream in my hair making it blonde and peanut butter skin and blond spike do not go too well).

You can also use Adole skin cream. It fades threatening spots and blemishes as well. Hopefully both these methods can help you. Good luck near it all..
