Then stop taking it, or take smaller amount. It also sounds like its time to try a new doctor. that's alot of apap for someone to lift i would ask your doc for a opiate without any other analgesics
apap can do some serious liver damage it might not decimate you that day but long term it will motive alot of problems.

If you are taking it for a long time, you develop some resistance to vicodin.You may notice,if you nick too much:you wont be able to pee or poo.
