Because I enjoy a high tolerance for opiates because of my past and I lately got into a car wreck and I stipulation to take more than 1 5mg tab at a time Im used to taking Oxycotin 40mg - 80mg when I was contained by the hospital and to take 40mg worth of these 5mg tablets i need to transport 8 of them and im just concerned about acetaminophen poisoning
Answers: Oxycodone is a generic entitle for an opiate analgesic. By itself it does not contain acetaminophen but there are preparation marketed underneath different names (eg. Tylox) that contain acetaminophen alongwith oxycodone.
Assuming you are talking in the order of Tylox which contains 5mg oxycodone and 325mg acetaminophen the dose for acetaminophen in 8 such tablets amounts to 2.6g.
Acetaminphen overdose occurs > 7g within Acute case wheras may occur > 4 - 6 g contained by chronic cases.
Eitherway you are not overdosing yourself with acetaminophen.
