My 5 year old son has be sick with Diarrhea and vomiting for almost 3 weeks now. They did a blood count and his white cell are elevated. They did a stool sample to test for vermin etc which came back mundane. He now is complaining that his bones hurt and his gums hurt. He weighed 52lbs and immediately weighs 46 lbs. All he does is sleep. I called the counsel nurse to let them know what is going on and his doctor is suppose to call final. This seems different then the "normal" flu entry. Any ideas?

Answers:    It could be the normal flu, nearby is a really bad case of it going around, and since hes younge hes immune to adjectives those bugs out there, but I would get him wager on to the doctor, because even if it is the regular flu, they have to do something thats no good thats hes loosing that much mass at such a younge age..

it the weight lost that is worrisome.i think you should talk to a doctor in half a shake, if the one you have is not at reach glibly, you must find a new one. at time like this, you shouldn't verbs and not know about the situation.good luck and i hope he feel better. i am so sorry bout your situation. Sounds similar to you need to see a real doctor . i would be looking for a pediatrician to draw from to the bottom of things.
