All of her life my sister has faint when she get's hurt, not from a scratch but if she falls down or bumps into something hard; etc. She said when she hurts herself she know that she is about to faint and she have learned to hurry and sit down somewhere before it happen. An example: when she was 8 months pregnant and home alone she slipped down some stairs and doesn't know how long she was out. She have visited many doctors surrounded by the past couple of years and none of them have really given a clear explanation, a short time ago saying that it could be heart or brain related. Does anyone else have this problem or know someone that does, and how serious is it? Thanks!

i have experienced this lately and it is mental. she maybe traumatized by something that happen to her in the past and presently when she gets hurt her panic button sets surrounded by and she feels faint. it sounds similar to a mental/psychological problem. She might have VasoVagal Syncope?
Hows her blood pressure, is it low?

I faint sometimes because I have terribly low blood pressure caused by dehydration. For some reason I never touch very thirsty and don't drink enough. sounds similar to she has low pain threshold. This is something that cause the brain to shut down for a brief moment when one feels "too" much pain. It could also be dehydration.
