He might be a garlic fanatic and eating too much garlic and onions. I would say-so, "Are you into the garlic and onion fanatical thing?" Please transport a bath and do not overdo the garlic thing! I hold a friend who loves to eat this as he reads adjectives this stuff on the health benefits of onions and garlic and the smell of garlic would knock out a horse!.
You could always subtly drop some deodorant into his shoulder bag? oh man.. that's a tough one... uumm, well I would say it flat out... but that's basically me. Sometimes it's better if things are left unsaid.
