My husband is a "functional marijuana user"; are here any other ex- functional users?

My husband has used marijuana for 15 years. He has not developed the typical Amotivational Syndrome. He have a successful career, is never lazy, have a lot of friends, forms healthy relationships, and uses to relax. In certainty, for most people getting high lulls them into somewhat of a stupor, but my husband is generally extremely high energy- high stung really- and using kindof brings him subsidise to a "regular" level of energy. It only does not interfer with his daily energy like it does for most people.
He bookish the other day that his employers are going to start doing unselective hair testing so he desires to quit immediately. Any one experience marijuana the way he does? And did you quit? If so, how and what kept you on track?

Answers:    This is pretty adjectives actually. You'd be wrong in your assumption that most ethnic group experience "Amotivational Syndrome". That was actually only a bull $hit line made up by anti-drug people within the seventies like most propaganda against marijuana. I've even read a study that there is a positive correlation between empire who smoke marijuana and people who make illustrious salaries. Of course, I won't be as ignorant as the Partnership for a Drug-Free America and come to the stupid conclusion that if you smoke weed you will get more money - it just means that population that make more money can afford to smoke more weed. However, it shows that marijuana doesn't affect people's ability to be successful. Look at my friend's brother, he smoked weed through some of large school and all of college and he presently has a Masters degree contained by Aerospace Engineering. I know others like this. There are people that will agree to pot control their lives, but you have to look at their personality type and it become clear that it's not the drugs fault; they could just as efficiently get addicted to video games, like my weak roomate. He never did any drugs and he failed out of his major. It's the type of soul you are; you can't let anything control your life if you hold a goal.

It's up to your husband if he wants to help yourself to the risk or quit smoking. I'd be pi$$ed my company was invading my privacy like that because as you mentioned, the drug doesn't affect your husband's work ethic. You could other tell him to try out those cleansers or synthetic urine if he gets a drug examination at work..
Back in the day, I used to smoke it truthfully regularly, and since I owned my own company, I never had to worry going on for "random testing". Anyways, I grew my own lear jet sativa and smoked it not so much to relax but to bring on mood of euphoria. If I wanted to just relax, I would drink a couple of beers or a martini. I still do. * if i be him i would find a new job
