Answers: When you go to enjoy your mole removed, the nurse or doctor will ask you to lie down on a couch in the treatment room. First you will enjoy an injection of local anaesthetic into the area where the mole is. The area will have an anaesthetic injection to numb it. Doctor cuts out mole, and stitches the wound. Patient (you) feel nothing. Stitches are removed approximately 10 days later. Scarring will depend how vast they need to cut. I had a mole removed 14 years ago - blemish is still there, but this may be because the wound came unfold an hour after the stitches were removed (obviously hadn't healed ample to remove them) and I didn't go back to own it re-stitched. i had three removed. they made it numb with an injection after used a scalpel to cut it out. small scar ,which was better than the mole. not painfull. glad i done it. its a simple procedure
i never have stiches .the doctor just put a small round plaster on them and that was that. never have to go back again
