Meds taken since minor surgery?

I am having a coloscopy done soon. I have a sheet w/ adjectives meds that should be stopped 7 days prior. I am currently on Phenteramine. When I first read the sheet, I was looking for that particular pet name and did not see it. Now tonight my husband pointed out that it says "Diet Medications" on there. I overlooked that because I wasn't looking for that . Now my procedure is set for the finale of the week and I took a dose of my meds this morning. Will they have to reschedule me and why? I know acetaminphin and aspirin are blood thinners, but how will this particular med interfere?

Answers:    I don't know but I would speak to the doctor in the past getting the procedure done.
You don't want to take any chances.
If the doctor have to reschedule thats ok. Better to be safe than sorry.

Warm Regards
Michele.
If your procedure isnt until the end of the week later your fine. Thin blood bleeds easier, if that makes any sense to you. If they are doing a procedure like this bleeding could transport place, and thin blood could cause more bleeding than the majority thickness our blood carries. I really don't mull over you have anything to worry going on for, just don't take anything else. it's probably because of the potential interactions next to anesthesia..
Be safe. Call the doctors office and ask him/her.
