Is it secure to cart precision of TB patients while pregnant? What roughly speaking when a long-suffering go to Nuclear Medicine?

I'm a RN working on a pulmonary/medical surgical floor and I'm getting mixed reactions from co-workers about who I can and can't transport care of. Some of my concerns are nuclear medicine when the forgiving comes back reactive, TB patients, those with shingles, convinced medications, etc?

Answers:    The patients that come back for Nuc Med are single marginally radioactive. THey will present no danger to your pregnancy, but the concern is understandable. The important half life of the substance used (Tc99m) is only hours. I have techs surrounded by my employ work in this area WHILE pregnant.

As for TB, if they are active, everyone in your department should pay attention (as I am sure you know as an RN). If they have only a history of TB, I am usually smaller amount concerned.

Have a great pregnancy!.
Honey if you are an RN you already know this...you may LOVE your job but if you LOVE your baby next you need to do something else right now. Ask to be transfered.
TB is precarious for anybody including your baby!
And shingles? That could possibly deadly during pregnancy!
You know that! :) You call for to quit!.
you are the RN here and you should know what is safe and what is not. to me personally i dont cogitate i would want to be around any sick people like that. It can well harm your baby.
