Anyone here taking Imitrex for their migraine ?
What are your experiences with this medication ? Does it work for you ? Any side effects ?

BEWARE! One of my neighbors took Imitrex for severe migraines. One daytime, my mom had this chance feeling and walk over to her house. She found my neighbor in the midst of a opulent mal seizure. Who know what could have happen if my mom hadn't come over? I'm sure it's a very pink side effect, but is always a possibility. Hope your migraines step away, I know your pain!

I took it a while ago, it be the first thing my doctor prescribed me when i told her i needed something different. I didn't close to it, made me sick to my stomach, and felt approaching it made my migraine worse before it get better. There was another one i tried and i didn't similar to it.i can't remember the name of it.shoot! I own found that excedrin migraine works best, but everyone is different in what works for them.
My mom have terrible migraines and it seem like she have tried every medication and not one has worked. Including this one. I suggest you try the medication, if it doesn't appear to help after a week I'd would discontinue using it.
We enjoy been using Imitrex for migraines for over 5 years. It works ably. The only side=effect is its large cost on our wallet.
i took it and it gave me heart palputations which i strill own sometimes even though im off it. and it didnt work after two weeks near me
I tried Imitrex a couple of times. It helped my migraines but give me alot of muscle pain from shoulder to shoulder. Kinda feel like someone hit me next to a baseball bat across my shoulders. I quit taking it.
I take Imitrex for my migraines. I find that it works really powerfully most of the time. I have not notice any side effects other than possibly a little perspiration. Once surrounded by a great while I might get a migraine that it won't work on for some function. But I would say that probably 95% of the time it works great. It usually singular takes nearly 10 minutes to work. Sometimes it only take as little as 3-4min. to work. It is a godsend!
I've taken Imitrex for a couple of years, and really liked it for the first few. It get rid of the headache quickly -- as long as you help yourself to it when you first feel the migraine coming on and not in the middle through it. I try to take it simply occasionally because I don't want it to stop working.
Side effects that I've experienced: I get a short time groggy, but grogginess beats a migraine.
My disappeared arm and left side of my collar get stiff, but that also beat a migraine.

I have severe migraines, I take the vomiting, can hardly move, my manager feels resembling it's going to explode , that last up to 5 days type.
I enjoy taken Imitrex, at first it worked well, consequently after a while; it's effectiveness decrease. I recommend that you ask your Doctor to prescribe 2 or 3 different migraine meds that work well together; that agency you alternate them and not build up a resistance to it's effectiveness!
I enjoy found that 800mg of "Motrin" every 5 hours works as well most of the times!
Follow the prescription instruction, thieve with lunchtime if recommended!

I have be taking Imitrex for about 7 years now- I mostly use the 100mg tablets but sometimes I'll supply myself an injection for faster relief. Imitrex have been the solely migraine pain reliever that works for me and I've tried adjectives kinds.
Personally I haven't have any noticable side effects- it's been my experience that even if I hold had side effects from taking Imitex, they grey in comparison to the side effects of have an untreated full blown migraine itself.

It takes some practice, but try this technique:
1. cause your tongue pointy.
2. put your thumb on one side of the point and your finger on the other.
3. Close your lips and try to blow nouns between your tongue/fingers and your bottom lip.
It works better for me if I use two fingers (pointer and middle) on either side of my tongue (using both hands). Try it out, and practice. A lot.

Well, from personal experience I have well-educated that if you smoke when you are young freshly because it is cool, by the time you grow up and realize smoking is dumb.it is already too late. You are addicted, and will never capture away from the cravings for the rest of your life.a moment ago ask any ex-smoker.
