Want to stop smoking,,any suggestion?

i really need some counsel, i really want to stop smoking mostly for my kids sake then mine, i smoke more or less 15 a day, i would win alot of chest pains, it so scarey i want to stop so much, am only 24.i own 4 kids

6. Talk with your doctor going on for quitting. Support and guidance from a physician is a proven way to better your probability to quit.

7. Begin an exercise program. Exercise is simply incompatible with smoking. Exercise relieves stress and help your body recover from years of trash from cigarettes. If necessary, start slow, next to a short walk once or twice per time. Build up to 30 to 40 minutes of rigorous activity, 3 or 4 times per week. Consult your physician previously beginning any exercise program.

13. Have your teeth cleaned. Enjoy the way your teeth look and quality and plan to keep them that route.

14. After you quit, plan to celebrate the milestones within your journey to becoming a non-smoker. After two weeks of one smoke-free, see a movie. After a month, go to a fancy restaurant (be sure to sit surrounded by the non-smoking section). After three months, go for a long weekend to a favorite get-away. After six months, buy yourself something frivolous. After a year, enjoy a party for yourself. 15. Drink lots of water. Water is suitable for you anyway, and most people don't catch enough. It will serve flush the nicotine and other chemicals out of your body, plus it can help weaken cravings by fulfilling the "oral desires" that you may have.

16. Learn what triggers your desire for a cigarette, such as stress, the finale of a meal, arrival at work, entering a block, etc. Avoid these triggers or if that's impossible, plan alternative ways to deal beside the triggers.

18. Write yourself an inspirational song or poem in the order of quitting, cigarettes, and what it means to you to quit. Read it day after day.

Tape your written message to the picture. Whenever you have the urge to smoke, look at the picture and read the message.

20. Whenever you own a craving for a cigarette, instead of lighting up, write down your feelings or doesn`t matter what is on your mind. Keep this "journal" with you at adjectives times.

You keep smoking until you finish the book and tolerate me tell you, you can't put the entry down for trying to get to the wrap up.

Some people utter that cold-turkey is the best way to dance but this book really does make you see sense.

Good luck, why not communicate to your doctor, or chemist for advice, try to find a hobby or something to do next to your hands to hold on to them occupied, maintain trying and don't give up, try to release the money you would spend on cigs and treat yourself every so often, or whip your kids out for family treats.
everyone is different. but when i stopped smoking i freshly did it. no messing around. no cutting put money on. just stopped. i stubbed out the cigarette i be smoking and i said no more. I chewed spearmint gum and every hour i went i said 'gone this far no use turining back' and that consequently turned into every day, every month, every year.

i still obtain cravings at certain times (like after a big meal) but i am better for giving up. i hold athsma and it got to a stage where on earth i couldnt get up the stairs!!

You have to do it at your own stride. Make sure your ready to stop, if you know what I stingy. Might be worth going to your doctors and getting the patches on prescription and at most minuscule you will have someone else to support you through the rough process.
I quit at christmas and it be one of the hardest thing I've ever done. Its amazing how much of a drug they truly are.

devise of the health of your kids, my mum smokes and i repugnance all the smoke surrounded by the house and the smeel, she cant give up but she would if she go so stressed. every time you go to oil lamp a *** think your kids are going to breath surrounded by that smoke as much as you are. its also a bad influence on your kids they see you smoking so whats wrong beside it if its ok for you to do it then surelly tha#ey can smoke 2!! i no its tough to give up i scrutinize my mum every day and some times im glad she smokes because minus it shes a night mare to love next to.
nicotine patches worked resourcefully for me but you still need profusely of willpower. I managed to stop acceptably easily but staying stopped be more difficult. use the patches at the commencement but once you've stopped do not ever ever touch another cigarette again. that was my downfall. i thought i could acquire away with have an odd one very soon and then but you can't. once you direct to stop stay away from them completely. good luck i hope you do paperwork it.
I gave up smoking 2 yrs ago and it be the hardest thing I hold had to do. Don't stop straight away, cut down first cos you will touch better that way, possibly try some nicotine patches or gum? some population say it help others not, but you can do it. Try and find something else to do when you have a craving, do a job that will keep your mind busy, eventually next to a lot of will power it will work and you will be rid of cigarettes. Good Luck!
Go to your local practice nurse who specialises surrounded by smoking cessation. You'll get your patch, gum, inhaler through NHS prescription at a fraction of the price you'd pay at the chemist or supermarket. They'll also tender you lots of great advice and tips on how to draw from through the first month. Good for you. I too have four children and I haven't smoked for three weeks very soon. I am using Nicotiell patches. My doctors surgery holds a stop smoking clinic, where on earth you can get four months treatment on prescription. They are a great support too. Changing your way of live help. If like me you probably would enjoy a cigarette when you wake up next to a cup of tea. Thats the hardest one to drop.
Get out of bed and have a shower or brush your teeth. Do something instead of that cigarette.
hold a bottle of water at adjectives times ,and if you fancy a cigarette have a sip.
Have pudding after meal instead of a cigarette, or go and dry-clean up straight away.
Suck on lolly pops so you are still putting something in and out of your mouth.
Sort out cupboards and wardrobe to keep yourself busy. My house have never been so verbs and organised.

I drink my water during the afternoon and limit my intake only prior to bedtime actually (too much marine before dozing rotten wakes you up contained by the middle of the night to stir to the bathroom ...). If I am thirsty, I'll just enjoy half a cup.

There is not a standard answer that applies to everyone. It depends on the extent of any water deficit your body is experiencing at bedtime. If you are thirsty at bedtime, drink some hose down. If not, don't, especially if you have a complicated time getting to sleep in the first place and don't want the urge to pee to get up you up.

Recovery time from reflective muscle bruising.....?

Fell down the stairs 10 days ago. X-rays showed nothing broken or inappropriate but I have some heartless bruising on my back and buttocks (particularly right side). Hip muscle go into spasm easily, especially while trying to sleep. Advil doesn't relief much. I have have 3 sessions of physical therapy and chiropractic adjustment. Anyone have any similar experiences or submission any hints on how to cope until pain subsides? Any hypothesis how long muscle spasms will continue?

Ice or heat (both help out decrease muscular spams, but rime will also decrease the inflammation and swelling, whereas warmness may increase it). Drink a lot of sea and make sure you are getting adequate electrolytes and potassium (bananas!). The spams are your body's reaction to the injury. The intensity and frequency should condense with time.

Be sure you disclose that to the military. My brother was within the marines and did not tell them he have ADHD. When he was home on break he took his medication and it showed up contained by his drug test and they discharged him!

I always thought that if you have ADHD you were not competent to join military service. ADHD wants to be controlled with medication especially if it is severe.

Yes you can wear them longer but I would still clean them every once surrounded by a while. I wear night and year 30 day contacts and I enjoy worn them up to 6 weeks. I have a friend that wear them up to 3-4 months. Just as long as you clean them you should be fine. I ruminate they say 30 days so they can staple you for another $50-$100 every month or so. My rule of thumb is "if they are irritating throw them out"
I've done that for 5 years with no problem. I wear them until they are in recent times yucky or tear or something. As long as you purloin them out and clean them every hours of darkness it should be fine. If they are the 24 hr kind that you wear while you sleep I wouldn't do anything close to that though.
In an interview with the CEO of Bausch and Lomb I saw he said the 30-day lenses be good up to 60-days but they recommended 30 for regulatory reason.

Yes, it's be my experience that you can wear them a lot longer than 30 days. Just be sure to disinfect them against bacterial infection on a regular starting place. You can wear them for a few months until them begin to irritate the eyes. .)(
