Been on dignified blood pressure tablets for a week?

blood pressure is around 150/95 not to much of a change. I enjoy noticed a big drop surrounded by my pulse rate. Is this normal?

Answers:
It take about 3 weeks for the heart to "remodel" after self started on blood pressure medicine. Your pulse is lower because the blood pressure medication has relaxed your arterioles, so respectively beat of your heart is competent to pump out more blood (a good entity.) You may notice that you are urinating more because your heart is competent to pump more effectively, and more blood is going to kidneys, brain, lungs, etc. I don't know your weight, but suspect you could lose a few pounds, Every 10 pounds overweight is an extra 25 miles of blood vessel for the heart to pump through, so if you are able to lose that 10 pounds, you may know how to stop blood pressure medication after being okay by your doctor.
You need to catalogue the medication. If it is a beta-blocker, it will definitely lower your pulse rate.

Post it and I can dispense you a better answer.
Good luck
no its not are you sure you counted it right? if your pulse rate goes down consequently your Blood Pressure should go down to beckon you doctor to see what you should do good luck
Give it some time - lay stale the salt - quit smoking - sounds resembling you're on a beta blocker as your pulse has slowed.

See your doctor again after another 4-7 days and review. You may stipulation an increase in dose or you may obligation an additional prescription.

And anie - if the pulse goes down, the heart can assert the blood pressure by increasing the stroke volume. The BP doesn't necessarily go down near the HR.
It is very plausible a result of the drug. Keep taking the medication as prescribed, so you actually know what the drug is doing. Why catch a bigger dose, just because the drug you're not taking isn't working. If your pulse is smaller number than 60 per minute, contact your doctor immediately. If you are worried satisfactory to raise your blood pressure, contact your doctor. Hypertension is well treated with an assortment of drugs. Work with your doctor to find the one near the best side effect profile for YOU.

I entail comfort on this early?

when people die surrounded by hospitals, what do they do with them? do they cover them up first, unhook the machines they're connected to, what??
Answers:
once a long-suffering has died they check the time. Unhook any instruments used (catheters-breathing tube etc...might not even enjoy anything to unhook) they clean the body up and yes they do cover them. doesn`t matter what the girls name said they don't.is wrong. I work contained by a hospital and they cover the bodies up after all the indispensable jobs own been done. They consequently move the body as quickly as possible (of course one and only once the family have been contained by to see the body, ID their family extremity, a preist/rabbi or whatever have said their peace if thats what needs to be done and as you would expect the Dr has done anything it is he/she needs to do) to the hospital morgue. Then once the body is removed --and yes I hold ridden in elevators beside dead patients...they don't dally until after hours to move the bodies...like I said as in the blink of an eye as possible. and they disinfect the room and get it arranged for another patient.
They verbs the room and unhook the machines. They cry and then they relate the family of the report and walk them to the room where on earth their family died.
they cover ther body or near face afterwards they will unhook them, then they telephone call the fAmily, then they will pocket them to where the own flesh and blood wants them sorta close to ish
you answered your know question, they unhook the machines check the time of departure,,, no they dont cover them
Unhook the machines and remove them, clean up the departed - the bladder and bowels release upon death. Close their eyes. Cover them except for their face if there is relations who want to see them. Let the family contained by to say flawless bye. Then the body is removed by staff to the morgue if it is in the hospital. If they are within a nursing home or private home the face is covered and a funeral home is call to remove the body to the funeral home for whatever treatment - cremation, embalm, dressing, placing in coffin, etc.
It adjectives depends on the protocal of the state and hospitals, and if the family is present or not, and whether they hold wishes or religious beliefs. Usually, if they are not present, they unhook them, cover them, them shoot them downstairs for cold storage, or the wager on of a wagon that is to say waiting to take them away. If you be in motion out to your local hospital, you will usually see a loading dock with vans waiting to nouns, and the drivers standing around smoking and talking grisly with one another.
If a lenient is close to dying in a hospital later the families are contacted so they can be next to their loved one when they die. If the patient is on a cardiac monitor some of these machines own a privacy mode which turns off the peak at the bedside by at nursing station they can still monitor vitals unitl patient dies. If it is not equipped this instrument then you can merely turn it off. If passing is inevitable and the patient is on a ventilator later the family is consulted and between the line and doctor everyone agrees that patient should be allowed to pas away smoothly. The ventilator is turned off and forgiving then dies. If the tolerant is not on any machines, family is call and they can be with their loved one until they die.
Sorry you necessitate to ask this question. I am not a medical soul, but it depends on the procedures of that particular hospital. My guess would be that they remove them from doesn`t matter what machines they are attached to. Then they would remove the body to the place in the hospital that can determine the rationale of death. Depending on the results of those test, they release the body to the family or imperative inforcement .
There is a PROCESS that must be done before removing the body from the room. A Dr. MUST enunciate and chart time of annihilation. The family is notify and allowed to come and mourn in the room. Usually as a courtesy, the body is cleaned and prepped for the people ( Wipe vomit, fecal matter, removing IVs & tubes, keeping the eyes moist and closed). The body is made to look somewhat at peace. As a rule of thumb, we do not resembling to keep the body on the floor too long as it upsets other patients and contained by addition, a private room is used for mourning (so if nearby was a room mate, we will remove one of them), Once adjectives mourning and paperwork has be completed. The body is tagged, bag and the undertaker takes it to the morgue (in the basement). The body any awaits autopsy or the funeral home to pick up down there.
What they did to my grandmother is
- cover next to blanket
- tell us to do the admin weekly work
- unhook the machines so that the dead personage can be push to the area where on earth they park the bodies.
- the nurse will start pushing away the equipment and prepare the bed for another bed by changing the sheets.

Is here a long residence treatment for cold hand?

I am subscribed to an email list which have men over 50 cycling at -20oC in Canada . I've followed adjectives their 'loose layers' tips and I'm 30, in England, beside freezing hands at -1oC. I cycle 7 miles to work respectively day (and after back.) My current gloves are supposedly designed for 'Ice Climbing' and cost lb80. If I wear a helmet and keep the rest of my body sweltering hot it help.

Is there a treatment? What if I needed to climb Everest or visit The North Pole?
Answers:
There infallible diseases which present with cold hand and I have worked near some people contained by this regerd. However, I dont think you are suffering from any of the conditions I am familiarized with. It is more credible that you are experiencing this as a result of aging. As we get elder the circulation to the extremities decreases surrounded by favour of providing blood and grill to vital organs. Staying physically fit can support, but it sounds like you are doing that.
Having lived most of my go in Canada, I used to with coping next to the cold. I will offer some suggestions base on my personal and professional experince.
First, in cold weather mittens are a better choice than gloves. There are apposite quality street lamp weight apparel made from a stuff known as Thinsulate. If you can find a two of a kind of mittens lined next to it I'm sure you will notice a difference. But, while bulkier, matured fashioned wool mittens inside leather mittens works just as very well.
Second, there is a hydrotherapy treatment which can lower the body's core warmth thus reduing the body's demand for warmness. A lower core temp means that the body will adopt colder external temperatures until that time it reduces blood flow to the extremities. Find a righteous Hydrotherapist and ask about this procedure. If you are not sufficiently expert to find one, send me a message and I will explain how you may be competent accomplish this on your own.
Also, there are a few things you can bring as food supplements which will help to hold on to the small blood vessels unscrew, allowing more heat to the extremeties. Cayenne pepper, niacin and any of an assortment of naturural anti-inflammatories, to name a few. Check near a health food store or herbalist for more information. I use a product call pycnoginal which is essentially grape seed extract. If you can find one which also contains pine yelp extract, all the better. These enjoy anti-infammatory properties as well as glorious levels of anti-oxidants which give a hand to reduce the risk of cancer. Doctors sometimes recommend a low dosage, enteric coated asperin to stifle the risk of heart disease. Asperin has anti-inflammatory effects as ably as thinning the blood, thereby making it flow more easily to the hand and feet. You might try taking one only just before you step out in the cold. But, look out with this as within may be medical reasons for you to avoid asperin.
Finally, sometimes poor circulation to the hand is due to muscular tension surrounded by the wrists, arms, shoulders or chest. Try massage analysis to relax these muscle groups and reduce restricted blood vessel. Proper stretching is also very encouraging in this high regard. There is a great book which I've used for years. It's called ''Stretching'' by Bob Anderson. It explains the proper technique as well as providing a great various exercises for all kind of sports. You may benefit from something as simple as warming up beforehand you cycle! You can order this book at your local book store.
I hope you find something adjectives in what I own said. If all else fail you can always do as I hold done,- move to a warmer climate!
Best of luck!
Pls check next to your dr to see if the symptom of cold hands that you own could be related to a circulatory problem going on that could be causing this.

Can I run Centrum and Caltrate together?

I know my diet is AWFUL. I don't cook and eat mostly cafeteria + nifty food.

I've been considering taking a multi-vitamin for a long time. I own a history of osteoporosis in the own flesh and blood, and a doctor once told me that my bones are too thin.

SO! I want to lug a multi-vitamin (Centrum) and a calcium supplement (Caltrate D).
Is this safe? Is here anything such as TOO MUCH CALCIUM?

Also, I read on the net that Centrum doesn't work because it isn't "time-released". Is this true? Does it issue?

Thanks in mortgage!
Answers:
Hi Booya. Caltrate is one of the poorest forms of calcium - calcium carbonate. Some people hold difficulty absorbing this form of calcium. It is the most common form of calcium supplement because it is the cheapest form.

Calcium citrate is a better supplemental form. Citrical is a source of calcium citrate.

Centrum is the unwanted items food of vitamin supplements. The number one ingredient is the various forms of sugar contained by it. There is NO reason to put sugar within a nutritional supplement! It is also full of preservatives and coloring agents - also not needed. Lastly, the minerals are surrounded by the CHEAP 'oxide' form which medical studies show is NOT absorbed.

I love a recent quote by David Perlmutter, M.D. (Neurologist) and recent receiver of the Linus Pauling Award in Medicine. Dr. Perlmutter said this to a colossal audience of physicians at an educational conference: "Centrum doesn't own enough nutrients within it for a gerbil!".

If you are serious about your supplements, you will want to find polite ones. They will cost more, but the price is worth it. Talk to a nutrition oriented healthcare provider or see the general public at your local healthfood store for guidance.

Finally, to answer your question. Most mulit-vitamin/mineral supplements do not enjoy a lot of calcium within them (would make the pills too big). Therefore, it is prudent to transport an additional calcium supplement next to your multi. Multi's also tend to be low in vitamin D, so you may want to appropriate extra D (either with the calcium supplement or separately).

Best wishes and upright luck.

P.S. Supplements are just that - supplements to the diet. They will NOT compensate for a lousy diet. So, start you supplements and start on an upward curve your food choices too.
They are both fine and can be taken together

A frien of mine filed for disability, it have been six months and we are wondering how much longer befor benefits start coming within the mail!!

Answers:
usually take up to 6 months to a year. if lucky some get notice by the 3rd month. waiting stinks!
call edd i get mine quick
For me, it be about 4 months. If she is approved though, they will retroactive it fund to the date she filed and she'll draw from a HUGE check.
At least a year after the soul has not be able to work. It's a poor instrument to have to get hold of benefits, but it's the American way. The benefits should be retroactive, so here will be one big check. It still may not be enough to live on, but it's a start.
It could be much longer. It sounds as if your friend hasn't even proved disability on the other hand. There may be a hearing and more medical exams since disability is even established. Once your friend receives a reminder that agrees with the claim, a date will be included when first donation is expected.
did your friend recieve a denial letter ? if so your friend have 60 days 2 appeal.. getting a lawyer and taking the denial memo with them is the track 2 go past the 60 days is up.. after 60 days, they have 2 re-apply.. if no denial memo yet, hand over s.s.i -a- call and see whats going on..

So i go to a pharmacy and bought Advil PM and Vicks Vapor Rub ( for my stuffy nose ) My cross-examine is can i use both together? I know the rub is on the outside of the skin but on the label for the advil it say " Do Not Use: Wtih any other product using diphenhydramine, even one used on skin." So does vicks vapor rub have that contained by it? PLEASE help i necessitate go to sleep.
Answers:
Go ahead kiddo, it's secure, just nick the recommended dose of advilPM. The Vicks is harmless. The diphenhydramine is a soporific, so they just don't want you to pocket other sleeping meds along with the advil PM or you'll be super drowsey.

Hope you acquire a good night rest!
Read the package or ask the pharmacist where on earth you bought the medices. The pharmacist is way better than strangers here on yahoo.
Vicks and Advil are secure to use together. Vicks does not contain any diphenhydramine (generic name for benadryl) which is what is surrounded by the Advil PM that puts you to sleep. You can use these together for a few days but if it lasts more than a week I would progress to the dr. You might have an infection or a delusion problem or some thing else going on.
