12 might not be enough - depends on the miligrams and what they are. It can lift a while. My friend shot up oxycontin and didn't die for a few hours. He went home, go to bed, and never woke up.

Wear the eye protection given to you properly. If nearby is none then you should stop tanning. Your looks are probably fine. Certainly not risking your form though.
stop going would be the first thing and for a couple of days put melt tea bags on your eyes for 10 mins at a time and in recent times relax don't watch extensive tv or play video games and don't read too much.

Those things aren't angelic for you, and you should have have the protective eye covers on. If you did you may only be getting the liniment in your eyes you are using to dissipate the headache of the sun burn.
