If Someone coughs and chokes while on their rear did they Asphyxiate or Aspirate?
I have a bet riding on this!Answers:
aspiration CAUSES asphyxiation.
Hendrix choked on his own vomit and he died of asphyxiation.
Neither, they roll over and jump back to sleep.
If the fragment they choked on blocks their breathing then I would surmise they asphyxiated. However, if the particle go into their lungs, then they aspirated. That's my best guess short googling.
Aspirate. When you asphyxiate it means your airway is person blocked by something. Could be a pillow, bag, etc. To aspirate is to suck within something into your lungs like vomit, wet, etc.
If they Aspirate they should feel better soon. The other one made my cat pregnant surrounded by the summertime. We should get together, swing out, compare bods, you know gay stuff kids do all the time. Draw respectively other neckeds, share fruit and fetching glances, and smash our teeth together while we devour it like on the Dukes of Huzzard other shows the cosins do.
Aspirate.
Not enough information to answer the sound out. A person coughs due to throat irritation or to clear the throat of phlegm. If the creature can cough, the person is not asphyxiating, since an inhalation is critical to cough (go ahead, try coughing without taking a breath; you won't seize much of a cough, and probably not more than one).
Also, if you can breathe through your nose, you are not asphyxiating.
So the examination, whether on your back or belly, is, can you breathe? If you are not breathing, hope that someone know the Heimlich maneuver, assuming the cause is a blocked airway.
Neither...There is a book call a dictionary and strangely enough words hold meanings.

What are some things that trigger bitter reflux?
foods...& etc. Also, are there things that may not be related to ingestion?Answers:
It is well certain that modifying lifestyle would reduce symptoms of sour reflux disease. The main effect is skilful by minimizing exposure to factors that interfere beside the normal function of the lower esophageal sphincter. Meals should be taken at most minuscule two hours before bed time to prevent regurgitation of stomach acids into the esophagus. Avoiding exercise now after meals would prevent generate forces that increases stomach pressure, also exercise would be associated with kinking of the full stomach. Obesity is another big factor and the heartburn sufferer should be encouraged to aver a healthy body weightiness. Tight clothing, by squeezing the stomach would induce reflux of its contents into the esophagus and should be avoided. Reflux is usually experienced during sleep, and elevating the head of the bed will allow gravity to do its work. Stress has long be linked to aggravating reflux symptoms through frequent mechanisms. In an energy to cope with disruption surrounded by routine, caused by stress, unwell lifestyles become evident. Stress also depresses imperviousness state and predisposes to complications in sour reflux disease. It should therefore be alleviated by adjectives means.
Limit or avoid citrus foods and juice, tomato products, chili powder, black pepper, high curvy foods, alcohol, peppermint, spearmint, onions, garlic, chocolate, and caffeine-containing beverages. These all trigger sharp reflux.
laying down contained by a horizontal position right after eating or drinking
that will set mine bad
Spicy & acidic foods, close to tomato sauces.
Try putting 4" wooden blocks under head-posts of your bed.
They will lift your head so tart stays in your stomach.
There're also prescription medication, see your doctor.
S-T-R-E-S-S!
High-fat foods can cause sour reflux. Although this may be just me, I find that ingestion large amounts of particle products always shoots tart into my throat.
Being overweight is a risk factor. Having a hiatal hernia also increases the risk.
Smoking, coffee. alcohol, spicy foods, lying down after eating. Sometimes it's only just a case that the sphincter muscle that connects to the stomach is puny and allows reflux to happen. I steal prescription Protonix which shuts down the acid pumps and really help. I used to get really fruitless pain contained by my chest and it was the entrance to my stomach self irritated.
In my experience, the more water I drink throughout the sunshine, the less my acerbic reflux bothers me. My own reasoning for this is basically that the complex the water concentration within your stomach, the more the stomach acid that cause acid reflux is neutralize. The recommended amount of water per morning is 64 oz. or close to 2000 mL. I usually try to get a touch bit more water than this and that usually help.
Also, as mentioned by another, try raising the lead of your bed. You can either buy blocks from places resembling "Bed, Bath, & Beyond" or you can make a makeshift set of blocks out of one or two planks of wood.
Acid reflux may be a symptom of GERD, or gastroesophageal reflux disease.
In GERD, your lower esophageal sphincter (just above your stomach) does not close properly and stomach acids are forced into your esophagus. Your esophagus may become inflamed and shed cell; this is called erosive esophagitis. This may front to a precancerous condition called Barrett's Esopaghus, which afterwards may lead to esophageal cancer.
If you hold acid reflux or "heartburn" day after day for more than two weeks, you may want to be evaluated by a physician. It may be GERD, not just sour reflux.
Read about GERD at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/gerd/ds... This article list some "noneating" causes of tart reflux.
This is a simple list of foods that may trigger bitter reflux: http://www.thegerdlife.com/lifestyle/ger...
If you have frequent acerbic reflux, you may want to see a physician for evaluation. You do NOT have to hold pain for desecrate to be occurring to your esophagus.
All of the above are true. One thing that hasn't be mentioned though. Not trying to scare you, but reflux can front to a condition called Barretts Esophagus. This can solitary be diagnosed with a biopsy. It is a precurser to esophageal cancer. Long residence reflux sufferers like myself should be checked out by a gastroenerologist. For me, the prescription drugs be no more effective than OTC Prilosec. I very soon take that particularly day. $24 for 6 weeks.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging. A powerful magnet. No metals for unmistakable reasons.
I work on a Hitachi Aires Open MRI. If the nouns we are imaging has no metal or jewelry, you should be fine. For a shoulder, I would not own you take out any piercings, since they are not within the field of estimation or interest. For a brain MRI, I would have you remove anything on your leader. For a shoulder, your jeans would be fine, but for a low back study, you wouldn't be allowed to wear them. Many things you might enjoy in your pockets would enjoy to be removed and left outside of the scan room. Your wallet (as credit cards and driver's licenses enjoy magnetic strips on them and they would be erased), motor keys and remote door locks, cell phones and pagers are some of those things. As long as your shirt does not hold metal (zipper, snaps, etc), I would have you save it on. A female forgiving would remove her bra, so if you are female, wear a sports bra next to no metal clasps, wires, etc.
A shoulder MRI on my machine last about 45-50 minutes. I do a expeditious 2 minute picture which I use to program your real metaphors. Where I work, we do a six sequence (series of images) study.
Jewelry (silver, gold, stainless steel) is not made of a substance which is attracted by the magnet. If in the nouns of interest, it can create an artifact on your image, which could distract from the power of the images, but it wouldn't be ripped past its sell-by date or out of your body. All patients entering the MRI scanning room should remove their view or hearing aids. The magnet will break these. I would enjoy you remove a belt, just because the magnet would verbs on the belt and be uncomfortable. Best wishes..
