No, they are not. I own been a smoker for over ten years presently. Yes, I realize I need to quit, and am taking the steps, but to be precise besides the point. I can speak from personal experience that the two are not linked. Not a drop of alcohol have passed my lips since November. Not for any other aim than I do not like to drink. In my luggage, there is a connect between drinking and smoking more often, i.e., when I drink, I smoke profoundly, but the two do not necessarily have to coincide.

i'm a smoker and i just about drink. when i do go out, adjectives my non-smoker friends bum smokes off me. ancestors who drink smoke. it just go with the nouns. i don't believe that smoking leads to alcoholism or drug swearing though even after reading those articles the first guy posted. i just know too lots smokers that are clean of drugs and alcohol.

I have bitter reflux but every prescripion drug makes my stomach hurt. So is here any Over the counter alternatives I should try? I already know about prilosec OTC. So excluding that?Answers:
When I developed acid reflux, I looked up a register of acidic foods. This inventory is the one that I like the most as it is pretty simple and color coded.

I have experienced various problems with bitter reflux, as well as lactose intolerance. Milk products added to my sour reflux is like tallying gas to a fire. I too tried most everything. There are like mad of non-drug measures you can try before taking drugs. I made my own condition managable by varying my lifestyle.
1. Eat smaller, but more frequent, meals. Don't permeate up.
2. Eat smaller quantities of bitter foods, such as tomatoes and sauerkraut. A lot of foods can contribute to the problem, chocolate for one. High-fat foods, also I've heard mint flavoring can be a trigger--ironic, since greatly of the over-the-counter remedies come mint-flavored. You don't have to destroy all your fun foods necessarily, a short time ago limit your quanties. A little google research can result contained by a list of foods that might be cause your problem. If you're suffering major problems, you might be in motion cold turkey for a spell, but I bet you can later reintroduce yourself to your problem foods.
3. My foremost problem was throwing up while sleeping. To remedy this, I try not to get through too much for dinner, and try to put 2-3 hours between my last intake of food for the hours of daylight and bedtime. And I don't snack between dinner and bedtime.

I not only don't lift prescription medicine, I don't lift any of the over the counter stuff.

Sounds a lot resembling my family. My brother have 4 kids, three blondes and a red head.

Okay, I seem to observe that I always enjoy runny/blocked noses. (It's not other mucus-y) And sneeze alot. Basically I keep getting a cold exceptionally constantly!
