Amoxicillin is related to penicilliin. If you enjoy reactions to life-size doses, you will soon have reaction to small doses (your sensitivity increases each time you use it).
I would shy away from taking amoxicillin for a sore throat unless I know for certain I have STREP. Antibiotics can and do give yeast infections to women, and to be exact something that I would prefer to avoid at any cost! Never take them unless it is absoloutely compulsory.
Otherwise, gargle with hot saline water, drink plenty of fluids and rest, it will be better surrounded by a day or two.

Yes, as long as they aren't the coated caplets (with powdered medication on the inside), you should be fine. You may identify a little unlikeable taste but it doesn't anticipate anything. If the doctor has prescribed it for you, bring that large of a dose.

The SSRIs that are on the Walmart $4 enumerate include:
1) fluoxetine (Brand name = Prozac)
2) citalopram (Brand signature = Celexa)
3) paroxetine (Brand name = Paxil)
Celexa works great, as do adjectives the rest of the SSRIs. But it is person dependent. One personality might do really well beside one, but another may cause side effect or not give support to their depression as much.
