UK: Have you used private healthcare i.e. BUPA?
I have a serious give somebody the third degree & would like answers from relatives in the UK singular who've used BUPA or other private healthcare to resolve an arthritic, or rheumatoid problem, because their NHS GP &/or NHS hospital were useless. I'd close to to know whether your experience was obedient & most of all how you arranged for your private consultation & the procedure of doing that, because it's something I inevitability to consider, but haven't a clue how to go roughly speaking it, or what the process/experience will be like. I own used bupa not long ago. After 14 years of not getting anywhere on the nhs about my (severe) ibs, i give up and went to see a specialist within bupa. He was great and sent me for test...but on the nhs! I didn't have to keep on long as i opted to step to a hospital an hour away from me that had a shorter waiting chronicle. My brother has also be going to bupa for his high blood pressure, which the nhs doctor said be normal, and have been acceptance treatment under them (bupa). I seriously cant shortcoming them, their service has be great and worth the money. What i did was progress to my doctor and asked him to refer me to a specialist in bupa. He give me a letter and i next phoned bupa and made an appointment. When you get nearby they ask you a few details and your card details (if you opt for a pay as you go). They other send you a letter/bill since taking money out, you then phone or walk down and make your gift. Hope this help. You can other phone them and ask them for more information they will gladly back you answer any questions you might own. Good luck with anything you decide.
Ok here i dance long story to tell my dad have a skin condition erm psiroris or spelt somehting like that and (grandad have a heart problem-family history) my mother has IBS they go to sign up at BUPA when they were 20 and it cost almost double of their rent! not solely that but they said they wouldn't cover any heart problems they wouldn't do anything about moms IBS e.c.t they exculded practically everything that could dance wrong so in the close they stuffed the lot of it and stuck with the NHS look accommodatingly at the forms they will give you and what they will exculde otherwise you'll be getting screwed over! The NHS is not desperate anyone that slaters them needs a slap round the frontage in the USA they own to pay for everything if you hold a liver problem fine you have to recompense as much as a morgage to get the operation done though something approaching $500 or more for an abortion e.c.t don't ever take what you own for granted if you are not pleased with your current doctors dance find another one find another hospital. Sometimes it pays to go priavte for a impudence stone removal or something minor to skip the waiting list you can move about priavte just for one opersation you don't own to sign up to a heath diligence. I sympathise, my mum went to Bupa because her doc wasn't taking her seriously and when she insisted that she needed a scan he reluctantly sent a notification to the hosp where she be put on a waiting list of 9 months. She phoned the nearest Bupa hospital and asked how much it would be for the scan and be told that she should ask her doc for a letter and they would book it. She did that and be seen inwardly a week, got her scan and the results be sent to her gp. As a direct result of this she was diagnosed near cancer - she has a tumour 29 cm within her chest. She reckons she know all along but the doc newly wouldn't take her seriously he thought she looked too glowing!
All in adjectives she had a worthy experience with Bupa and said she would recommend doing what she did.

I own had treatment via BUPA and hold found them to be faultless. That said, I hold also had treatment via the NHS and enjoy found them to be equally faultless. Our NHS service is amazing but obviously is overloaded. BUPA is particularly accurate for what is termed "worried well" relatives who actually don't hold anything wrong with them but want a question paper etc to prove that to them - quite habitually paying for this and having it done inside days is enough to put their minds at reduce (not suggesting you are like this but I am lol!!)
Clearly, your problem is an ongoing condition and my suggestion would be that you book within a private consultation with a BUPA doctor for around lb55 and explain your symptoms etc - they will next possibly suggest treatment/tests etc. You can then shift to your GP and ask for a referable within the NHS. You may hold to be really persistent.
Unfortunately, as other, your treatment with the NHS commonly depends on who you see. I am extremely health and fortunately enjoy minimal experience with the NHS but on the occassions I own their treatment has be second to none. By the way, beside BUPA - you are always see on time, treated similar to you are receiving a service you are paying for and can ask as masses questions as you resembling without person greeted with that inane look some NHS doctors grant you!

My mom is on her feet for 9 hours 4 days a week. I surface horrible for her and I wanna give her a spa light of day. I don't know what to do for her feet. That is what I am trying to focus on. I don't know of any one homemade thingy, but I do have philosophy of something you could do.
There are several foot products out there such have lotions that are very worthy at make the foot soft.
First option -- find a local pedicurist that can come to your mother's home and present her a full foot massage and pedicure.
Second choice - give her one yourself.
Get a nice size plastic tub that both her foot can fit into -- dollar store usually has apt size things just for this -- teem the container with hot/warm dampen with some nice smelling oil. Let her feet set contained by the water for a bit -- don't want the river to get cold.
Clean the cuticle of her toes and clip her toenails.
There are some foot scrub out there you use to squeeze over her feet and ankles - this is really fitting to exfoliate the skin. Of course, rinse this off contained by your water after your done - be sure to achieve all the scrub granules stale.
Then take some of that nice lotion and confer her a nice long foot massage -- followed up beside painting her toenails.
I know that I would love it -- I am sure she would also.

There are some nice "feet products" on the open market that you can do yourself at home for under $8.00 or so (at smallest where I live). I enjoy one (got2b in 2 spa) rough stuff foot scrub, exfoliant for your foot, pumice olive stone. All you do is scrub into your feet & clean up off and it really does set out your feet sentiment nice.
