Definately sounds like pink eye, also call conjunctivitis. Sounds like you involve antibiotics prescribed by your Dr. Just because you don't know anyone close to you that has doesn't penny-pinching that's not what it is. You could have gotten the infection from anyone anywhere. Make sure you hose your hands plentifully, especially after touching your eye. Your Dr. will probably give you eyedrops also, put together sure you use them and take the antibiotics for the recommended amount of time and you will be fine. (Also I would recommend wash your pillow and bedding once you start the medicine)
