The best cough mixture by far is Gee's Linctus. It contains Opium Tincture which your body converts into Morphine, so you get really drowsy and can in truth sleep, it is also really good for losening up the phlegm. Vicks chest rub is fitting, or even better, a few drops of Olbas Oil on your pillow or mattress will clear your nose at the double. Don't actually touch it or rub it on you, it will sting and burn. Paracetamol is probably better for you than Ibuprofen, rather more gentle on the stomach. Hope you be aware of better soon, God bless.
