This is done so that he could learn to adopt treatment. Interventions can be done by family member along with close friends, but in attendance are times wherein an intervention specialist is called on to facilitate the proceedings because an expert will be more adept at handling cases of substance assault.
intervention is when friends of the addict hold a 'meeting' (with him) and try to make him amend his ways (through talking and support)
if it works the effect is that the user will 'break' his habit
if it backfire (doesn't) the addict might do more 'bad' drugs/habits to 'retaliate'

go to the doctor so he/she can look at it. my mom have chronic ear infections. at first, she just thought it be too much wax, so she kept cleaning her ears, and then she get a yeast infection in her ear because nearby wasn't ENOUGH wax to keep out moisture. so travel to the doctor and let him look at it. it might be a bacterial infection that won't be fixed by in recent times emptying the wax.

With infection you'd have twinge, specially in your ears. Think its too much wax, dont use cotton buds, they will merely push the wax further in. Try putting some OLIVE grease in your ear to losen the wax, seriously its not disadvantageous, just 2-4 DROPS. (like drip it from a teaspoon). Otherwise step to the doctors.
