no that is not true. the individual things you need to avoid are smoking and spicy food as these things put together the piercing more susceptible to infection.
the person who pierced your tongue should know the answer to this query. i don't remember being told that tho. keeping verbs with listerine and glyoxide will serve it heal properly.
I go wrong to see the danger, but it can't hurt to avoid it. The one and only potential problem i could see is if any milk gets stuck within the hole and rots or something- not good. Really, I'd recommend drinking river to help wipe the piercing and avoid excessive sugar or other things getting trapped in it.

Do the benefits of accutane outweigh the risks?
I'm a 17 year old manly with mild acne and some red grades. In high college my condition made it very difficult to get together girls due to my self confidence and my appearence. I would really like to net a change within this so I can pick up the pace and own women be more receptive to me and finally lose my virginity. This might appear a little egocentric, but I'm being faultlessly honest with my desires. I own tried literally everything for my condition (antibiotics, topicals, vitamins/supplements, liver flush, colon cleansing, you name it)_and it seem that accutane is my last resort. I am considering this mostly for the reason that it's drastically awkward to explain why I haven't had a girlfriend even so and I'd really like to function resembling a normal individual in society for once contained by my life. I have a sneaking suspicion that Accutane is great. I was on it for almost a year when I was 16 years behind the times and it worked wonders! It was even more of a big concordat for me because I'm a female. I have to take a pregnancy experiment every month because of the horrible birth defects it can end in.
I also tried EVERYTHING and nothing help! I tried antibiotics, topicals, injections (ouch!), and nothing worked!
I estimate the benefits definitely outweighed the risks (at smallest for me anyway). The only discouraging thing I can vote about the drug be it made me pretty depressed, but as soon as I quit taking it I went vertebrae to my old self. Some citizens have be reported to attempt suicide and some people own actually committed suicide while on Accutane. It's a VERY powerful drug!
I'm starting to grasp acne again and have an appointment to start another Accutane treatment surrounded by August. It just lately started coming back again after human being off the medication for 5 years (I'm 21 now). If you do return with on Accutane you might need to repeat it within a few years because it can come back for some society.

My husband was on accutane because of his acne. Yes accutane did dry up the acne but immediately that he's been bad of it for a few years, the acne is starting to come back. I do remember that he have to go once a month and get hold of blood drawn to check his liver.

My doctor has tried me on two types of steriods for my asthma, which havn't worked and I own been on anti-biotics for a week and I'm still not better.So I've have an x-ray and I've still got to dally for the results.

I caught pneumonia from not keeping melt in the winter second year. You should stay in bed and drink soups or other straightforward to eat food. And clear sure you keep a bucket (for throw up), some dampen, a thermometer, and a cool towel by your bedside. And also try to get plentifully of sleep.
Since you're NOT in your 40s+ you should be capable of recover at full tilt once the doctors give you the drug.
