I've be taking Chantix for five weeks now. I haven't have any lasting side effects. I own experienced an upset stomach with it. But, I immediately make sure that I appropriate it with food, or at the intensely least a full cup of milk. This helped me beside the stomach aches and I haven't have a problem since. By now you should be up to the "full" dose of 1 mg twice a afternoon. If you are taking it with food and still have the negative effects of it, I would suggest lowering your dose of it. I talk with my doctor give or take a few when I should stop taking it (since it's so expensive) and she suggested that instead of stopping I just be in motion back to the 0.5 mg twice a sunshine. I have a friend who have serious stomach problems with it and that's what her doctor told her to do to. Plus, I read on the Chantix website that taking 0.5 mg twice a afternoon is still effective beside quitting smoking. Good luck! I've been smoke free for 26 days immediately and I couldn't have done it in need the Chantix (and all the positive support from friends). You can do it too!!

But, the best thing is to ask them to use a butterfly plunger as skinny as they can. They don't sting as much. I would say close your eyes and don't initiate them no matter what and yak to the nurse or anyone and you may not even know when it is done.
