Yes you can. You can also cry wearing lenses. Swimming is silly though. And when you are inserting your lenses be certain not to find any tap hose underneath them as this can cause horrible eye problems which (I muse I was told) are incurable. The trick is not to allow hose down UNDERNEATH your lenses, but once inserted they are ok to shower in.
Best not too, as the river is very expected to get into your eye and bring an infection.
Better to just put them into some saline while you shower.
Just hold your eyes closed during the whole shower. Make sure you know where on earth the shampoo and soap is before you carry in, and that you can effortlessly reach your towel up to that time you get out of the shower so you can dry your facade before you have need of to open your eyes.
