I enjoy freshly ate really spicy food. Now I enjoy a doomed to failure stomach smarting. What can I do?
Answers:
I have have good luck next to Pepto-Bismol
drink some milk
eat spicier food.........suffer the pleasure!
try a tums or rolaids
Take a pepcid ac.
you can deal next to it, you can drink some milk or you can take some pepto bismol. (The milk and pepto bismol will coat your stomach)
drink some milk and chill
Try an antacid and sir and relax.
Take some drug like Ibopreufen. I don't know if i spelled that right or not.
Stick your finger down your throat and puke it up! Then jump brush your teeth.
Or get
TUM TA TA TA TUMMMSS!
purely wait for it to come out..
Drink ginger ale. Ginger help your stomach.
Take some (1 tablespoon) baking soda and mix it in a cup of tepid wet.
Drink it.
It won't taste exceedingly good but your stomach should gentle down in a few minutes.
You might start getting gas after this. That's a suitable sign.
All you can do is wait . . . and consequently enjoy what happen after the stomach ache go away.
Pepcid AC chewable or tablets... this product absorbs acerbic like TOMS does, but it also controls tart production like Prilosec does. It is if truth be told good to appropriate one a half hour to an hour formerly hand, if you know you are going to be consumption something that will make you grasp a "bad stomach throbbing."
I use baking soda and warm river, works in second for me.
Alka-Seltzer is probably the fastest...then I don`t know Pepto Bismal...if you don't have those, try some cold milk beside some saltine crackers. Good Luck!
Medicinal charcoal can be used, for absorbing the toxin. If you feel nauseated, you should vomit, to expel the poisonous substances which are probably cause the belly ache. More home remedies for stomach hurting at http://www.aches.in/homeremediesstomacha...

What is myasthenia gravis?
Myasthenia gravis is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease characterized by varying degrees of low standard of the skeletal (voluntary) muscles of the body. The name myasthenia gravis, which is Latin and Greek within origin, literally manner "grave muscle weakness." With current therapy, however, most cases of myasthenia gravis are not as "grave" as the name imply. In fact, for the majority of individuals beside myasthenia gravis, life expectancy is not lessened by the disorder.
The hallmark of myasthenia gravis is muscle thinness that increases during periods of distraction and improves after period of rest. Certain muscles such as those that control eye and eyelid movement, facial expression, chewing, talking, and swallowing are commonly, but not always, involved contained by the disorder. The muscles that control breathing and neck and upper limb movements may also be affected.

What cause myasthenia gravis?
Myasthenia gravis is caused by a malfunction in the nouns of nerve impulse to muscles. It occurs when ordinary communication between the nerve and muscle is interrupted at the neuromuscular T-junction - the place where brass neck cells connect next to the muscles they control. Normally when impulses travel down the rudeness, the nerve ending release a neurotransmitter substance called acetylcholine. Acetylcholine travels through the neuromuscular crossroads and binds to acetylcholine receptors which are activated and generate a muscle contraction.
In myasthenia gravis, antibodies block, alter, or verbs the receptors for acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction which prevents the muscle contraction from occurring. These antibodies are produced by the body's own immune system. Thus, myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease because the immune system - which customarily protects the body from foreign organisms - mistakenly attacks itself.

What is the role of the thymus gland in myasthenia gravis?
The thymus gland, which lies within the upper chest area beneath the breastbone, plays an meaningful role in the nouns of the immune system in precipitate life. Its cell form a part of the body's common immune system. The gland is somewhat large surrounded by infants, grows gradually until puberty, and afterwards gets smaller and is replaced by grease with age. In adults beside myasthenia gravis, the thymus gland is abnormal. It contains unquestionable clusters of immune cells indicative of lymphoid hyperplasia - a condition usually found individual in the spleen and lymph nodes during an stirring immune response. Some individuals with myasthenia gravis develop thymomas or tumors of the thymus gland. Generally thymomas are benign, but they can become malignant.
The relationship between the thymus gland and myasthenia gravis is not nonetheless fully understood. Scientists believe the thymus gland may make a contribution incorrect instructions to developing immune cells, ultimately resulting within autoimmunity and the production of the acetylcholine receptor antibodies, thereby setting the stage for the attack on neuromuscular transmission.

What are the symptoms of myasthenia gravis?
Although myasthenia gravis may affect any voluntary muscle, muscles that control eye and eyelid movement, facial expression, and swallowing are most frequently artificial. The onset of the disorder may be sudden. Symptoms repeatedly are not immediately renowned as myasthenia gravis.
In most cases, the first noticeable symptom is inadequacy of the eye muscles. In others, difficulty in swallowing and slurred speech may be the first signs. The scope of muscle weakness involved within myasthenia gravis varies greatly among patients, range from a localized form, limited to eye muscles (ocular myasthenia), to a severe or generalized form within which many muscles - sometimes including those that control breathing - are artificial. Symptoms, which vary surrounded by type and severity, may include a drooping of one or both eyelids (ptosis), blurred or double vision (diplopia) due to poor standard of the muscles that control eye movements, unstable or waddling gait, shabbiness in arms, hand, fingers, legs, and neck, a correct in facial expression, difficulty within swallowing and shortness of breath, and impaired speech (dysarthria).

Who get myasthenia gravis?
Myasthenia gravis occurs contained by all ethnic groups and both gender. It most commonly affects young fully fledged women (under 40) and older men (over 60), but it can materialize at any age.
In neonatal myasthenia, the fetus may acquire immune proteins (antibodies) from a mother affected near myasthenia gravis. Generally, cases of neonatal myasthenia gravis are transient (temporary) and the child's symptoms usually disappear within 2-3 months after birth. Other children develop myasthenia gravis indistinguishable from adults. Myasthenia gravis within juveniles is common.
Myasthenia gravis is ultimately inherited nor is it contagious. Occasionally, the disease may go down in more than one contributor of the same household.
Rarely, children may show signs of congenital myasthenia or congenital myasthenic syndrome. These are not autoimmune disorders, but are caused by defective genes that produce proteins contained by the acetylcholine receptor or in acetylcholinesterase.

How is myasthenia gravis diagnosed?
Unfortunately, a rescheduling in diagnosis of one or two years is not unusual within cases of myasthenia gravis. Because weakness is a adjectives symptom of many other disorders, the diagnosis is regularly missed in nation who experience mild weakness or contained by those individuals whose weakness is restricted to singular a few muscles.
The first steps of diagnosing myasthenia gravis include a review of the individual's medical history, and physical and neurological examinations. The signs a physician must look for are impairment of eye movements or muscle weakness lacking any changes contained by the individual's ability to be aware of things. If the doctor suspects myasthenia gravis, several tests are available to confirm the diagnosis.
A special blood oral exam can detect the presence of immune molecules or acetylcholine receptor antibodies. Most patients with myasthenia gravis hold abnormally elevated level of these antibodies. However, antibodies may not be detected in patients near only optical forms of the disease.
Another test is call the edrophonium test. This approach requires the intravenous authority of edrophonium chloride or Tensilon(r), a drug that blocks the degradation (breakdown) of acetylcholine and temporarily increases the level of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction. In ethnic group with myasthenia gravis involving the eye muscles, edrophonium chloride will briefly relieve hindrance. Other methods to confirm the diagnosis include a version of bravery conduction study which tests for specific muscle "fatigue" by repetitive courage stimulation. This test accounts weakening muscle responses when the nerves are repetitively stimulated. Repetitive stimulation of a backbone during a nerve conduction study may demonstrate decrements of the muscle deed potential due to impaired nerve-to-muscle nouns.
A different test call single fiber electromyography (EMG), in which single muscle fibers are stimulated by electrical impulse, can also detect impaired nerve-to-muscle nouns. EMG measures the electrical potential of muscle cells. Muscle fibers contained by myasthenia gravis, as well as other neuromuscular disorders, do not respond as economically to repeated electrical stimulation compared to muscles from normal individuals. Computed tomography (CT) may be used to identify an nonstandard thymus gland or the presence of a thymoma.
A special examination call pulmonary function testing - which measures breathing strength - help to predict whether respiration may fail and head to a myasthenic crisis.

How is myasthenia gravis treated?
Today, myasthenia gravis can be controlled. There are several therapies available to back reduce and develop muscle weakness. Medications used to treat the disorder include anticholinesterase agents such as neostigmine and pyridostigmine, which comfort improve neuromuscular nouns and increase muscle strength. Immunosuppressive drugs such as prednisone, cyclosporine, and azathioprine may also be used. These medications upgrade muscle strength by suppressing the production of abnormal antibodies. They must be used next to careful medical followup because they may exact major side effects.
Thymectomy, the surgical removal of the thymus gland (which regularly is abnormal within myasthenia gravis patients), reduces symptoms surrounded by more than 70 percent of patients without thymoma and may cure some individuals, possibly by re-balancing the immune system. Other therapy used to treat myasthenia gravis include plasmapheresis, a procedure in which exceptional antibodies are removed from the blood, and high-dose intravenous immune globulin, which temporarily modifies the immune system and provides the body with typical antibodies from donated blood. These therapies may be used to give a hand individuals during especially difficult periods of fearfulness. A neurologist will determine which treatment option is best for respectively individual depending on the severity of the weakness, which muscles are artificial, and the individual's age and other associated medical problems.
top
What are myasthenic crises?
A myasthenic crisis occurs when the muscles that control breathing challenge to the point that ventilation is scarce, creating a medical emergency and requiring a respirator for assisted ventilation. In patients whose respiratory muscles are thin, crises - which generally give the name for immediate medical attention - may be triggered by infection, restlessness, an adverse reaction to medication, or thrilling stress.
top
What is the prognosis?
With treatment, the outlook for most patients with myasthenia gravis is bright: they will hold significant improvement of their muscle incapacity and they can expect to lead middle-of-the-road or nearly normal lives. Some cases of myasthenia gravis may be in motion into remission temporarily and muscle weakness may disappear completely so that medication can be discontinued. Stable, long-lasting complete remissions are the goal of thymectomy. In a few cases, the severe vulnerability of myasthenia gravis may cause a crisis (respiratory failure), which requires instantaneous emergency medical care. (see above).

What research is person done?
Within the Federal Government, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), one of the Federal Government's National Institutes of Health (NIH), has primary responsibility for conducting and supporting research on myasthenia gravis.
Much have been studious about myasthenia gravis within recent years. Technological advances hold led to more timely and accurate diagnosis, and alien and enhanced therapies hold improved organization of the disorder. Much knowledge have been gain about the structure and function of the neuromuscular fork, the fundamental aspects of the thymus gland and of autoimmunity, and the disorder itself. Despite these advances, however, in attendance is still much to learn. The concluding goal of myasthenia gravis research is to increase irrefutable understanding of the disorder. Researchers are seeking to swot what causes the autoimmune response contained by myasthenia gravis, and to better define the relationship between the thymus gland and myasthenia gravis.
Today's myasthenia gravis research includes a broad spectrum of studies conducted and supported by NINDS. NINDS scientists are evaluating alien and improving current treatments for the disorder. One such study is carrying out tests the efficacy of intravenous immune globlin in patients near myasthenia gravis. The goal of the study is to determine whether this treatment undamagingly improves muscle strength. Another study seek further understanding of the molecular idea of synaptic transmission contained by the nervous system. The end of this study is to expand current knowledge of the function of receptors and to apply this awareness to the treatment of myasthenia gravis.

What is Myasthenia Gravis?
Myasthenia gravis is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease characterized by varying degree of weakness of the skeletal (voluntary) muscles of the body. Is there any treatment?
Myasthenia gravis can be controlled. Some medication improve neuromuscular nouns and increase muscle strength, and some suppress the production of abnormal antibodies. These medication must be used with scrupulous medical followup because they may cause chief side effects. Thymectomy, the surgical removal of the thymus gland (which often is exceptional in myasthenia gravis patients), improve symptoms in absolute patients and may cure some individuals, possibly by re-balancing the immune system. What is the prognosis?
With treatment, the outlook for most patients beside myasthenia is bright: they can expect to lead common or nearly normal lives. Some travel case of myasthenia gravis may go into remission temporarily, and muscle feebleness may disappear so that medications can be discontinued. In a few cases, the severe poor quality of myasthenia gravis may cause respiratory breakdown, which requires immediate emergency medical assistance.
I was diagnosed next to MG in 1999. For more on this condition , contact the Myasthenia Gravis association who will provide you beside help and information. There are masses local and regional support groups.

It is a very unbearable disease that has as its largest feature, extreme muscle fearfulness.
Lightheadedness?
I started feeling lightheaded Tuesday and on a 1-10 size it was nearly a 3. It was in the order of the same on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, I would rate it as something like a 6 or 7 and then it have been close to a 3-4 since. I have no thought what to do. I have be lying down and drinking a lot of fluids. I enjoy had a sinus infection back and I was particularly lightheaded from that, but the thing is, I am don't hold a congested nose or any other symptoms. I am 16 years weak. I don't really know what I should do.Answers:
sinus issues can effect your inner ear which controls your sense of balance. possibly a call to your doctor to see if they recommend any medication for your situation...
The subsequent time you experience this have one of your parents lug you to the emergency room, or to have a CT scan done.
I would see a doctor.Lightheadedness can be cause by many things could be your sinus, or heart, or low blood pressure.I am sure it isn't serious but seize checked if it continues.
It would be unusual at your age but you could have low blood pressure - can you carry it checked? Also, your ears might be blocked as a result of the sinus infection, which would lead to your consciousness giddy ... have you get any discomfort there? I'd enjoy a word with a pharmacist, who ought to be capable of advise you whether it's worth consulting a doctor. Good luck.
Go see a doctor, it could be signs of menigitis that could enjoy occured because of your sinus infection.
Cold and Flu?
Does anybody know any old wives stories or actual methods of getting rid of a ruthless cold? Have tried beechams and lemsips but ive had so heaps i think im immune! its time to bring the big guns out!Answers:
i other take paracetamol, drink hot lemonade, and stay contained by bed for a day or two.
Go to your GP as you may own a infection and need antibiotic,s
My grandfather swears by whisky , honey and hot dampen. It's never worked for me though.......you be as well try it , can't hurt eh?
Mucinex works the best but if you want to try adjectives natural run some echinacea or you can take 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinager 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon honey and mix within 8 ounces of hot water and drink 3 times a sunshine until symptoms are gone
i usually take a double dose of vitamins. one dose contained by morning another in evening. i can in fact feel how i get the impression better after each intake. cold usually take no more than 3 days and it is very mild - i do not enjoy any fever and i am not dying. merely maybe a sore throat and some cough and somewhat running nose. so i recommend to everybody - clutch vitamins (multi vitamins)
Think a saying go that a cold will disappear in 6 days next to treatment and half a dozen if you don't. Reckon adjectives you can do is treat the symptoms of a cold and if it goes onto your chest consequently maybe run to the docs to make sure you haven't get a secondary infection. Keep thaw out,and if you're that bad stay stale work to try not and spread it to everyone else.
Of course you've heard of nurture a cold, starve a fever. There's a defence why people put away chicken soup when sick. There's an ingredient in the chicken broth that combats bronchial congestion. Also, for stuffiness, use vicks vapor rub, but if you can't stand have the goop on you, then unfreeze some in a bowl of hot hose down and leave it on your bedside table and tolerate the vapors permeate. Warning: the smell might bother or thwart sinuses of any other people living next to you. If your head hurts, I love rubbing the stuff on my forehead. It seem to numb the pain. Zinc lozenges are great for preventing colds, but I don't know if it help to lessen a cold if you're already got one. I forget, anyway, it couldn't hurt. You're supposed to permit those melt surrounded by your mouth, don't chew them. It actually say that on the packaging. Taking vitamin C tablets I hear can speed up taking back. Also getting a massage is a colloquial holistic remedy for many things. Perhaps you enjoy a spouse or mate that will be kind satisfactory to oblige.
Sore throat? Gargling with heat salt dampen will help waste germs and lessen pain. If you swallow any of this stuff, you'll product a face close to you were biting a lemon. It's gross! Speaking of lemons, some thaw lemon honey tea will help coat and sooth your throat, and as you would expect you'll need the vitamin C from the lemon. Don't chomp through or drink any dairy products as this produces more mucus.
Music calms the savage animal. It can also help cure him. Having some soothing music playing within the background while you rest or read can really add to your mood. Your mental state has a great deal to do with wellness. Your body is more approachable to healing. Watching a comedy on t.v. or reading the comics isn't a bleak idea any. Laughter is the best medicine.
Get in good health soon.
Stir fried ginger, garlic ,spring onions & chillies.Won't cure instantly but at least your body will be obtain some nutrition .
The only entry about this recipe is getting the vigour to make it and resorting stern to Lemsip land instead.. as I enjoy just done.
Is n't it amazing how trouble-free it is to ignore your own suggestion?
Good luck..
Dont go to your GP for a cold...........they own proper ill family to see to, unless you feel you are getting much worse.
There is no cure for the adjectives cold. High dose vitamin c is great speeding up the recovery of a cold.
Regular paracetamol if you hold a fever.
Spicy curry will sort out nasal and sinus congestion - get hold of to that curry house for a nice madras.
If you have a sore throat honey, lemon and hot wet.
Hot toddie before bed - whisky, hot dampen and 3 whole cloves within it.
Rest rest rest.
Colds can take a couple of weeks to dance.

Help! I hold such a doomed to failure way...?
I have the worst craving of picking at my skin with tweezers, does anybody else do that and if yes, what give a hand to stop?Answers:
I bite my fingers to the cuticles. I can't stop, but I have adjectives my teeth still. For you it is easier. Just throw away all your tweezers. Most ethnic group that do what you do are Crankheads. If you are on that crap seek medical attention straight away. IT WILL KILL YOU !
when you start doing it, then focus on something else. rinse, repeat.
Sounds to me that you obligation professional help. I assume here is nothing ON your skin to be removed next to tweezers, right? You just pick? You obligation to see a psychiatrist.
Your not a dumb***! its not uncommen for people to do something similar to that. My cousin for instince is only 7 and she constantly picks at her eyebrows leaveing shiny on top patches contained by them. I didnt remember exactly what it is. She still does it and the doctor said stress. Just go see your docter and ask some question about it.
If you own gone to your docter and they said nothing is wrong next to you maybe its only a fascination beside picking your skin.
What is your blood type?
I am O.Answers:
I am a universal 0 distrustful.
A complete blood type describes the set of 29 substances on the surface of RBCs, and an individual's blood type is one of the many possible combinations of blood group antigens. Usually simply the ABO blood group system and the presence or absence of the Rhesus D antigen (positive + or gloomy - , also known as the Rhesus factor) are determined and used to describe the blood type.
Blood group AB individuals own both A and B antigens on the surface of their RBCs, and their blood serum does not contain any antibodies against either A or B antigen. Therefore, an individual next to type AB blood can receive blood from any group (with AB being preferable), but can single donate blood to another group AB individual.
Blood group A individuals have the A antigen on the surface of their RBCs, and blood serum containing IgM antibodies against the B antigen. Therefore, a group A individual can simply receive blood from individuals of groups A or O (with A being preferable), and can donate blood to individuals of groups A or AB.
Blood group B individuals hold the B antigen on their surface of their RBCs, and blood serum containing IgM antibodies against the A antigen. Therefore, a group B individual can only receive blood from individuals of groups B or O (with B man preferable), and can donate blood to individuals of groups B or AB.
Blood group O (or blood group zero surrounded by some countries) individuals do not have any A or B antigens on the surface of their RBCs, but their blood serum contains IgM antibodies against both A and B antigens. Therefore, a group O individual can only receive blood from a group O individual, but they can donate blood to individuals of any ABO blood group (ie A, B, O or AB). If a blood transfusion is needed surrounded by a dire emergency and the time taken to process the recipients blood would incentive a detrimental delay, O Neg blood is issued.

Do Iron supplements work?
This is Spring Valley brand. I got it from Wal Mart. It say Iron 65 mg, 361% daily advantage. Has anyone taking this supplement and does it work?Answers:
iron can be very rigorous on the stomach. eat next to a meal if it tell you to!
First of all James, I hope you checked next to your doctor. Most males don't need greatly of iron. You get ample from food, and you don't lose blood. So, you should be okay without a supplement UNLESS for some grounds you didn't mention, your doctor says you own to take it. So...mind, because too much iron can be harmful.
Id move about with a multivitamin, they're already glorious in iron and work passageway better. But yeah iron works alright.
P.S. dont buy supplements from wal-mart, splurge and spend the extra 5 dollars on a real workout supplement vitamin
Ive be sick for roughly 2 weeks and i coughed up a bit bit of blood surrounded by my spit?
Ive been coughing since i get sick but never have coughed any blood at adjectives. Today i woke up coughing for a minute and coughed up like for a moment less than a peasize amount of blood contained by my plhem. I heard this could be conventional because of all the coughing. I smoke weed alot not tobacco. Should i verbs? It only happen that one timeAnswers:
You should probably go see a doctor contained by the next daytime or two. The problem with smokers (remember weed have no filter and you hold it in longer) is that the crud surrounded by the lungs are perfect homes for germs. Though you may have started past its sell-by date with in recent times a cold, your immune systems takes a touch beating and you can presently have a bacterial infection. The phlem could be blood or rust-colored sputum, again signs that you should probably seize checked out and probably be prescribed some antibiotics.
Good luck.
first of all don't smoke weed!! its really doomed to failure for u!! u can die from it! see a doctor!
good luck.
It happen when you cough a lot. Its common but would suggest to cut out the smoking because its encourages bronchitis.
lend a hand. bulimia is taking over my friends go.?
my best friend used to be bolimic in middle institution. she stopped a few years ago, but now her body is acting exceptionally strange. she watches what she eats so she doesn't trigger her bolimia, but even when she eat a little bit, she cant hold down her food, when she throws up at hand is some blood and she says her intestines her (not her stomach, but her actual intestines) she get these red dots all over her facade, chest and arms. and at random moments she get sharp pains in her heart (not sure if its from eating)I've done some research and i found out she can capture throat cancer and even die. I want to help her, but we both dont know what to do.
besides a psychiatric therapist what are some ways for her to stay healthy? is at hand any kind of medication she can pinch to make her stop throwing up?
*serious answers simply please. I'm so worried about her.
Answers:
your friend is have heart pain because he heart is person litterally eaten by her body. ( i am not tomfoolery this is serious) Without adequate nutrition, vitamins, protein, amino acids, minerals, etc. her body will guzzle and kill itself. Pain is not something to overcome, discomfort is a warning sign that someting is wrong. Pain should not be overlooked.
p.s. my friend used to cut herself, she said she would never talk to me again if i told anyone. I loved her so much, much more than to consent to her keep hurting herself, i know our school counsler in good health and the counsler helped my friend and we become better friends than before.
so do the right article, get facilitate, this is a serious problem that adults need to serve you two with!
While your intentions are suitable, there's nothing you can do "for" your friend. She is going to involve medical attention, and FAST.
There is no "medication" for this. It's a PSYCHOLOGICAL problem that is best address by therapy.
she should see a doctor on the double it could be something serious esp if there is blood involved when she throws up, she is consciousness pain surrounded by her abdomen and her heart, please convince her to move about to the Dr. or E.R. ASAP
