I don't get this. Smoking a pack a daytime for 20+ years and quit Friday night ( Jan 5 ) and started the patch Sat. @ 7:00 AMI haven't even feel the urge for a smoke yet and it's in a minute into day 4 and not even the slightest urge to oil lamp one up yet have crossed my mind.
I read so much about relatives craving for a smoke after quitting, but this patch seems to be doing it's situation so far.
Hopefully it continues, but this is strange that I don't even have the slightest urge or thought around it. I must not be normal.

There are two kind of smokers. People who similar to nicotine and people who close to to SMOKE. You were apparently the former. So the patch is taking support of what you needed, and you have no cravings. You're lucky. People who basically like the obsession of holding, lighting and smoking a cigarette have it a bit tougher. There's no patch for that. :)

The patch works, and yes, it is giving you a low dose of nicotine. It is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. My only side effect whacky dreams. I slept next to my patch to diminish AM cravings.
That is how the patch works.
It puts nicotine into your system (which is what smokers suffer withdrawal on) but your not taking it within through a cigarette.
If you had to, you could stay on the patch forever, but I doubt you will!

Well i always own problems with my throat adjectives the time. i wake up contained by the morning and i have lots of mucus stuck within my throat its pretty gross, and so ill be coughing it up and sometimes i own seen approaching tiny blood..its red so thats what my guess was.Is near any over the counter medicine to back this ( if anything no pills, i cant swallow them) or is this something i should get checked out? gratitude.

-your vomiting or diarrhea continues for longer than 12 hours
-you set off to run a fever of 100.5 or superior
-you have severe abdominal dull pain
-you have no urine output for longer than 12 hours
-you own constant dizziness or the dizziness when you try to walk last longer than 4 hours
-you feel shaky
these are all signs of dehydration and you might have need of iv fluids to help capture you feeling better
