They aren't. Antibiotics get prescribed for infections because infections are cause by microorganisms and antibiotics kill microorganisms. Antibiotics are individual used too much but to say that they are used for everything is a gross overstatement. I see far more prescriptions for heart medication and diabetes medications than antibiotics.

Herniated Disc within the collar?
In April I had an MRI which showed a slight herniated disc which cause great discomfort. I tried therapy, until insurance stopped it. However it have reoccured again on the opposite side very soon. The pain have moved down into the shoulder, bad headache, etc. Is it possible to have a complete herniation presently? If so, what can you do to take exactness of a herniation?My sister in tenet had collar surgery on Friday for disc degeneration and I do not want to end up approaching her in the adjectives.
I am also 5 months pregnant so I'm nervous I can not fire up the process to determine what is wrong. i.e. MRI

I really don't know if nearby are any other ways to find out if it has gotten worse in need an MRI. I would speak with your doctor on this to see what he/she have to say. Tell them that it have come back on the in front of side and you are having seriously of pain next to it. I think the individual way to "fix" a herniation is by surgery but individual pregnant I really don't know what options are out near for you.
I myself, have disc degeneration surrounded by my back, fortunately not too bleak but I still have it. I enjoy tried the therapy, strain meds, and cortizone shots. Ask your doctor about getting a cortizone shot and what he/she think about it. It may oblige you out for a short time until you and your doctor can find other option for you.
I had this same problem and I finished up seeing a NUCCA Chiropractor and I have be blessed with on top form child and no surgery for myself.
