Is 'Viral' caught from someone?
I have a desperate throat, the doctor said its 'Viral'. Does that mean i own caught it from someone, or has it only appeared on me by itself. Thanks.Answers:

I have a 4 year behind the times son with several vigour issues. He sees a phyciatrist, endocrinologist, and a neurologist aside from his regular pediatrician. We adopt my baby when he be only 4 months matured and we were never competent to get the full history as to what his bio mom did when she be carrying him in her womb (drugs,alcohal,etc.). My concern is that he is on growth hormone injections, two different type of tremor medications and focalin for ADHD. Wont this really effect him surrounded by the long run? His pedi says that children can tolerate more than adults but I am really skeptical about that. Am I wrong to be so concerned? GP - HOSPITAL referral gone missing??
I have be waiting 3 months to see a consultant surgeon.My GP said they sent the referral to the consultant on 28th october 2006. i have be ringing the surgeons secretary every 2 weeks since then and she have confirmed nothing have been received!
All the GP say is that they have sent it....all the same it clearly hasnt been received!
What can i do?
With the secretary describing me to ask the GP to fax directly to her, (which i have done) and the GP ignore my requests i am at a loose end, and STILL waiting for my outpatients appointment!

You need to see your GP again surrounded by person. Hospitals are inept to send out appointments minus a doctor's referral letter. If your GP is awkward, try to see someone else in the practice. Why don't you ask for a copy of the inspired referral letter and consequently send it on yourself? You are entitled to own a copy of all post written about you. This really is an not good enough delay and you probably enjoy grounds for an official complaint.
speak to the secretary at the surgery and if the notification has be done she can fax it if it really hasn't been done she can hound the gp. You are also entitiled to see your accounts so if you suspect a cover up you could always ask to see them (I bet the message will get sent after!)
Go to your GP's office. Get a copy of the referral yourself and run it directly to the surgeon's office.
Ask the Doctor again and if he still refuse threaten to report him to the local health authority. See how with alacrity he moves then!
Go to another GP as yours does not seem to be to be interested in your well-being.

Those are call Tonsil 'liths'.. essentially, 'stones' that are stored in pits from your tonsils. My son have them and they smelled awful! they are a mixture of old food and microbes that has gather in the pits on your tonsils and once they catch so big you just hack them out! Actually, NA...Narcotics Anonymous is a 12-step meeting/program to assistance people who are on drugs or adjectives sorts...but you can also look towards CA which is Cocaine Anonymous; CMA which is Crystal Meth Anonymous or AA which as you already know is Alcoholics Anonymous. You can go to AA even if you own a drug problem or NA if you have a drinking problem. Their motto is 'Keep Coming Back'...these meeting are great because they only want you to enjoy the DESIRE to stop using/drinking. They don't require total abstinence (freedom from chemical use) and they are incredibly supportive. If you or someone you know has a problem the best point to do is to have a formal evaluation to see if they stipulation to have more support or treatment option that a traditional 12-step meeting will provide. If treatment is not what you're looking for try a scheduled time and see if it does the trick. From my experience of referring patients to meetings, I hold found that older adults prefer AA and the younger crowds approaching more of the NA, CA and CMA meetings. Thank goodness I am not the with the sole purpose one it has happen to, I bought some on Thursday last week and have one about partially an hour after my lunch and I had severe hiccups !! I could bring up to date my collegue was starting to obtain annoyed as she suggested I try and drink some water which in reality helped ! I own also experienced a couple of palpitations as well but monitor your symptons and swap to something else which you quality more comfortable with.
It is not that nouns you swallow....I used the gum before and the sense you get the hiccups is because you seize too much nicotine in your body at once. That's why they articulate to chew it only a few times and consequently park it between your gum and cheek.
