As far as I know, if you be born with it, you are stuck next to it. It is similar to psoriasis, but there is no treatment for it. It usually runs contained by families as it is cause by your genes (the same gene responsible for psoriasis is believed to be responsible for geographic tongue).
I have a geographic tongue and it have never bothered me.

Someone i knew, who be very subdued and hushed, became extremely agressive taking paxil and had to be switched wager on to prozac.
I took Paxil for 2 years and the first 3-5 days made me very tired and almost out of it! But after that I be feeling great and never have a problem since. But you have to remember that medication do not work the same on everyone and I do know that on some nation it made them a little quesy to their stomach at first.
