Cutting your toes I enjoy never heard of, but infection could confidently result since feet are just about the cleanest part of the body. Let's be logical. Anorexia is a VERY serious disease that those have died from. It IS NOT wholesome. As for cutting your wrist, foot, and toes on purpose, specifically just stupid. I had surgery when I be a young child, too. I be also scared out of my mind. Even though it seem like my mom and dad's comforting me didn't cheer me up, it give me a sense of security. Ask the doctors if you can be next to her as she is put under anesthesia. My mom be allowed to be with me when I have my surgery 10 years ago, so I'm not sure if you will be allowed to now. Also, ask if your daughter can bring a small stuffed animal into surgery next to her. Of course it will be taken out of the operating room as soon as she falls asleep, but it helps a child.
Please report to her that the doctors only want to serve her and will try to minimize the pain. They do not want to put together her feel feeling guilty about her body. They see so masses people adjectives the time, they couldn't care smaller number and they don't even notice anymore. I hope everything go well for your daughter.
