I can't swallow pills, how should I do it?
Ever since I was a kid I've have trouble swallowing pills. I just can't force myself to do it. I enjoy tried cutting them contained by half but most of the time that leaves a mess and doesn't work out, so please don't enunciate that.And suggestions>>

Train yourself to swallow pills by starting out near something that's not medicine. Try swallowing M&M's approaching you would a pill. That way you obtain practice without in actual fact taking medicine, and if it doesn't move about down it tastes ok. Just don't do too various in a row. ;-)
I used to enjoy the same problem. I would crush them up within a spoon and swallow it with dampen. It was gross but it jump the pills down!

I also have a huge issue near swallowing pills. Sometimes I can hold a pill in my appendage for hours without taking it. When I was a child, my mother other crushed my pills and put them in applesauce. (still can't get through applesauce to thiss day). As an adult, I hold found it easiest to drink some water up to that time I am ready to steal a pill, and then I finally pilfer the pill with thaw water. This mostly works for me. If I don't whip them this way, it feel as though they are stuck in my throat. May also want to try the characteristics that are coated, to slide down easier. Hope this helps for a while!
Don't try to tip your head posterior to make them shift down because it is a natural instinct for your throat to attempt to close up. Just put the pill contained by your mouth near the tip or toward the middle of your tongue and appropriate a drink of water beside it. It is the same piece as drinking and swallowing when you have food within your mouth. Just pretend it is food and it will go down much easier.
Ah, I have the same problem. I overcame it by putting the pill within a piece of cream cheese. It goes down smooth and sweet, and soon I just not here out the cream cheese and found I could swallow easily.
in good health the only suggestion i own is if at all possible, buy some sympathetic of pills that are the kind that dissolve within your mouth. or if it's some kind of cold tablets or something, buy the liquid (stuff approaching cough syrup) kind instead of the pills. if it's some sympathetic of medicine that cannot be made into the dissolvable form or solution form, just ask your doctor something like it. i'm sure he/she would have better suggestions than me anyway lol.
The best article to do is find out if they can be crushed or not (most can) and then only just put it in rime cream or something like that. Scored tablets (ones that hold a line down the middle of them) can be crushed. However, enteric coated tablets can't because they are time released.

Let me take a moment to answer this incredibly misunderstood psychological affliction. I'm a 50 year old male(beautyofthesea's friend) who have delt with this phobia for a lifetime, if ever within was an olympic event I could smoothly win the gold for "pill taking in need swallowing whole event". So here it is surrounded by a nutshell...You go out and buy this clever little gizmo at the .99 cent store for .99 cents. It is a small plastic doohickey thet you drop the pill within then proceed to screw down until you enjoy a fine powder form of what once was an adjectives to dangerous "adjectives pill"..Then you proceed to dump the fine powder on top of a single serve cup of "Mott's" applesauce (no otther brand will do) later mix thoroghly and spoon feed to yourself.

from what i take to mean it really doesnt hurt it is just similar to you feel pressure. I hold also heard this compared to getting stitches taken out. No verbs. But you can talk to your doc something like the insecurities and he or she can talk next to you and answer you questions and put your mind more at confidence.

I own what is called a g-tube and the tipe I enjoy is a mikey and that never hurts but some of the other G-tubes do hurt
Stomach sound out?
I have notice that when I eat, the minute I stop my stomach make the weird noise. Like my stomach is empty and growling. Or somethings when i finish intake that I get this nausea sensation in my stomach. I get the impression almost to the point of vomiting but don't. I"m not sure what quite cause this. I have a moment or two case of IBS but I'm not sure i.e. what causes it. This doesn't evolve all the time but here lately it have been. I'm trying to pin point what foods trigger this but own been unsuccessful because not one food will trigger it. For example I have Taco Bell tonight and it bother me, but last week I have Taco Bell and it didn't' bother me. Any ideas?Answers:
i know exactly what your going through i have these same symptoms and it turns out i had acerbic reflux, i was sick for this for months and lost approaching ten pounds because it got to the point where on earth i stopped eating because everytime i did i feel like i have to puke. my advice turn to the doc and get some prescription tablets or some otc, mylanta works pretty well

Okay...Don't hold me to this....but those sounds that your audible range in your stomach...they're call "borborygmi". Your stomach makes these sounds when it is digesting the food that you own eaten. Now the nausea that you are experiencing...could be from several things...stress/worrying, over-eating, and several other things. I intuitively think it would give support to to "get you mind stale of it". In other words, don't constantly think and verbs "Is my stomach going to hurt?" "What if someone hears me?". When you do this, your brain is focusing surrounded by on what "could" happen for so long that eventually you label your stomach hurt.
Stress is another BIGGY....When you are upset or "stressed" your stomach muscles tighten perhaps even to the point of regurgitating your already eat food back & up into your esophagus cause the nausea. So if your stressed, (and stomach muscles are tightened) when you eat, you almost automatically take nauseas...see what I mean?
There are some medication such as
*Prilosec
*Ranitidine
And sparing use of Tums and fiber that can help "coat" and relax your stomach, (or at lowest give you the peace of mind to preserve from worrying that your stomach will hurt) to help beside the pain.
