Ok Im Asking This Question On My Dads Sn,I Am 17 Years Old, And About 2 And A Half To 3 Weeks Ago I Got A Sore Throat! Within 3 Days My Right Tonsil Started Swelling And The Next Day I Couldn't Even Open My Mouth It Was So Bad, I Had Went To My Family Doctor And Local Emergency Room They Gave Me A Test And Said It Wasn't Strep Throat, But It Just Kept Getting Worst, So I Was To Another Emergency Room And They Put Me On Antibiotics And Sent Me Home, But I Just Kept Getting Worst And My Throat Was Almost Closed Up, They Sent Me To Another Doctor And They Cut It And Got The Infection Out When I Went Back In 10 Days He Told Me That I Will Probably Have To Have Them Taken Out, He Said I Could Wait But I Will At Some Point Probably Have To Have Them Taken Out And It Would Be Best To Go Ahead And Do It Because They Are Enlarged, Cause The Older You Are When They Do It The Worst It Will Be. Has Anyone Else Had This Problem ? Is It Normel ? Should I Have Them Taken Out ? What Are The Risk ?
