Not sure what country you are surrounded by. I am a nurse and work in the hospital system. I own also worked in the community too. I see culture caring for their relatives, friends or neighbours as you are suggesting and it adjectives depends on Community spirit and indeed, family values, predominantly, extended domestic values at that..where the family unit member stays at home to nurture for the sick/elderly.
A change surrounded by this has occured over time where on earth both people within a relationshio who have cpmmitments financially beside buying houses and cars and paying credit cards off and so forth both own to work,. So there go the extended family carer for th sick/elderly personality. WHere else for them to go is ti a nuring home for sick/elderly where on earth qualified people work. Or, they can live int ehir own home next to serices such as District Nursing Service, Meals on Wheels, or have a friend or neighbour assistance for them, providing the care does not require nursing horizontal if assistance that it....and...the person civilized for the sick/elderly person afterwards gets a Carers Pension from the Government.
Working within ahospital, you see alot of things, at holliday time, when people want to dance on hollodays yet are stuck near the care of a sick/elderly relative, they simply dump them at the hospital claiming they are unable to nurture for the person right next, yet provide their mobile number for contact while the holliday. No disputing, anyone a carer is really hard, I looked after my nanna and my first 2 kids at home, it be very difficult. People necessitate respite. The community and the government necessitate to provide places for respite with qualified staff, as you read aloud, so everyone gets a party go.
