Most of the time you will enjoy to go through next to the motions and stages of a cold, but following the basics usually shortens the severity of my colds.

I own this problem when I try to talk too speedy in my desire to right to be heard what it is that I want to say. it is approaching my brain is going faster than my mouth is. Not sure if this is your problem but maybe you could try pause before speaking and letting your 'mouth' pick up up with your brain, collect your thoughts earlier attempting to verbalize them.

I have this problem sometimes too, it is usually around folks I am nervous next to. I just try and discuss slower, this helps. I tend to parley to fast and my brain calculate way faster than my mouth....So lately try and talk slower. I don't deduce you need a psychotherapist. You are normal.
Also, read books or keep under surveillance movies of older times, close to Charles Dickens (this may sound silly but stay beside me here).... It helps you to know how to word things correctly. I wouldn't say-so things word for word like him (that might cause you stand out in a strange way), but it helps you to know what sounds right.
