Strange symptoms?
For the last 2 years or so very soon, I've had strange symptoms that give the impression of being to come and go. The first is fatigue, get worse in the afternoon. Theres also shakiness, occasionally get really bad when i'm hungry. And I'm really blond too..lot's of people comment on it. I've have tests that show I haven't get anaemia or diabetes which was first thought. These be about 18 months ago. The doctor say it's nothing, but I surface really bad sometimes. Epilepsy, driving, and latest position?
I am on a management training plan and, as I am coming to the end of my final placement, I am looking for up to date jobs at a middle/senior regulation level. All of the job I see require me to have a driving licence which I don't enjoy due to my epilepsy. Most of the applications don't have any space to explain WHY I don't enjoy a licence & state things like "you must join the essential criteria to get an interview". Am I wasting my time even nourishing these applications in? It seem to be an essential requirement for all the job I am looking at (even if I could do the job on public transport). Does anyone hold any experience of this or know how I stand legally? Please oblige!Answers:

I know people beside epilepsy have difficulties finding job and it is sad. Could you maybe put a note beneath the section on condition issues which explains why you don't have a licence and point out that your epilepsy is underneath control? It could be a discrimination issue if you could deffinitely do the available job on public transport so I would advise contacting the Disability Discrimination Board or speak to someone at your local TUC who may bring up the case for you. You don't hold to be a member and they did comfort me with an issue of employment and disability inside the NHS. Hope this is of some help.

My suggestion to you (which I am also doing) is budge to your neurologist and find out what the conditions are for you to drive. In some states you must obtain insurance (Zurich Direct will insure us next to epilepsy) or atleast they did back within 99-00...anywho, basically catch insured and get fit free. IF you already are seizure free, stir to the DMV and apply for your license, Make sure to INFORM them that you have be free of seizures for 6 mos to 1 yr or more(if true) and tolerate them know you medicated, under a neurologist nurture and you would like to apply for your drivers licence. IF you take place to apply for a job and interview for it permit them know you are in the process of getting one due to your epilepsy. The state can not turn you away for have epilepsy UNLESS you are NOT seizure free.job can not turn you away for not having one! in four days?? okay so really, you dont own to worry something like it. just drink like mad of water. ive have many drug test and prescription pills usually are out of your system in only just 2-3 days. like i said to be nontoxic drink A LOT. and if you're still worried about it run to a "head" shop and they have detox drinks for similar to 20-30 bucks or just travel to the weight loss wedge of a grocery store or wal-mart and get a DETOX drink or pill.
