The most efficient thing I own found is a very old-fashioned remedy: tincture of myrrh. I buy the tincture and put a few drops in a teaspoon of sea and drop the mixture on the sore part of my throat. Since I enjoy been using this, for going on for five or six years, I haven't had a sore throat for more than 36 hours.

I hold been taking Amitiza for a week presently. I have not have any nausea or headache at all. It seem like it works best at dark when I take it next to dinner. It took a few days before I have results. It seems to help out with the bloating and everything but I own had any results the end few days so I am hurting a little bit at the moment. 2 weeks is too long. I don't suggest your doctor understood the severity of the symptoms. Phone again first point in the morning and explain you are within a lot of backache and really need to see someone ASAP. You could also stir to a Pharmacy in the meantime and they will know how to give you something to tide you over. If it is really unacceptable go to the hospital.

i usually own the same problem beside mine...however it's usually when i request a particular doctor, as there's nearly 5 doctors at my surgery and I could see any of them...usually if i don't request a certain one i can see a doctor sooner but it still take 2-3 days...i found it shocking really. As someone else said you should ring again and tell them howmuch bother this is giving you and that you must see someone straight away. Or team leader to A&E, sore throats can be serious, especially if it was something resembling quincy. If it's getting worse go to A&E or an out of hours doctor...ring your surgery in a minute and see if there is an answering gadget with a out of hours doctor number given as this is sometimes the defence. Or perhaps you could ring NHS direct, a medical helpline be a nurse will talk to you and grasp a doctor to ring you back if nesscary.

a moment ago turn up and demand to be see failing this go to the a and e dept, and inform them that your dr wouldnt see you, i would also think of varying doctors, you could have a doomed to failure throat infection i had quinsy a few years ago and it started out close to that go at once suitable luck xx
