At the terminate of the day when my foot are really hurting...I have found that within are certian peppermint lotions that are specifically for your feet and they DO formulate a difference. They also have similar to peppermint bath salt or "foot soaks" that you can put in hot marine to soak your feet.
In the summer time I travel in the pool after work and I prop my body up on a float or tube and purely let my foot dangle in the sea. My grandma also has foot problems and this is what she told me to do. . to my surprize, not single is it relaxing but its very soothing to the foot...
